@femoral2 I wont be changing the effects as they were the design of the original author. Also, the game does not have a way of hiding the effects of a condition

Can you remove "Parasitic Infection" that affects moving?. It makes it too obvious to find: https://ibb.co/tJ8h1dt
Also, it infects entities like shamblers

I found that Space Worms generated in ancient architectural complexes are also unable to infect others

Why can Space Worms hatched from humans infect others, but Space Worms generated from God Mode only miss each attack

Author of this mod gave permission to integrate the textures. They are basically just more higher quality ones of the original

Theres been like 5 drop pod people and only 1 didnt have a space worm. How big of a chance is there that people have space worms?

I think it would make a lot more sense, if there was a random number (1-3) of worms hatching from the host. Instead of just one. Also, the infection is easily detectable on health bar.

Tested with 1.4 and a big modpack. Still works!
Spawned a Space worm with debug tools attacked it and waited 24h. infection worked.

It looks like this mod is not working for at least Rimworld 1.3 as I started a new game with no mods enabled except Space Worms and the same thing happened; Space Worms wandering not doing anything and Parasitic Infection not progressing to gestation/death of the Pawn.

The mod doesn't seem to be working for me (It could be because I have a large mod list, but the mod isn't throwing any errors) Pawns with Parasitic Infection do not gestate/die after 12-24 hours/ever and I spawned some space worms and none of them were hostile, they just wandered around doing nothing.

Ok, yea I still can't get any events nor spawn infected human nor any worms. Just the queen and useless larvae.

How do you spawn worms? I haven't had an event yet so i tried to use Dev mode. I don't see any events for it under create event nor any worms under spawn pawn. the only thing is space worm larvae, worm queen larvae, and worm queen. When spawning a worm queen, it looks like a ant hill and it only produces larvae that does nothing.

@Sirius It seems only the Xenobiology research was implemented in the mod, hence why I moved it to the vanilla research-tab earlier

Having the same issues. Captured an infected pawn but nothing has been happening for a couple of days.

I have had someone in my jail for a long time and i noticed they were moving slowly - apparently the cause was "parasitic infection" from this mod, but I feel like they should have burst long before this. Is this a bug or can it sometimes take a while for them to manifest?

woah that was really fast! thank you! it works for me, but maybe a little context on the numbers? the dufault is 1.5, but is 1.5 like: 1.5% chance a day? or 1.5% chance for a modded incident to happen vs a normal(uninfected) drop?
