Hey love this mod but I've noticed that when you zoom out on the unit the helmets suddenly transform into a big plumed swordmasters helmet. I guess there is something wrong with the rigid_model but not sure how to fix it... any chance you could point me to a tutorial or anything?

It's cool then! If you haven't already go the Modding Den Discord Channel (can find links in Mixu's and Cataph's mod descriptions), they helped me a ton with learning a lot of the basics.

I dug through your mod and figured out how you made the mask. Though I had trouble making it work with any rigid model that wasnt the silverin guard. Still have a lot to learn

Maybe them pushing the beta to live has done something with it. The reason being that I tested it on custom battle and that's how I was able to get it to work. I didn't have issues but it was for SFO players. It worked fine without doing anything with my mods.

@sofielurim I'm actually working on a full HE reskin overhaul, it is taking quite a bit of time since I'm busy with rl and I have to make new textures from scratch but it is coming, about as fast the Dragons and Whitewalkers from GoT.

These Silverin Guard models are much better than the default ones CA gave us, thanks! Aside from the Faithbearers, do you by chance have plans for any of the other Mistwalker units? CA got lazy and none of them are particularly impressive looking . _ .)

OK @Doggfather et al. Go check the discussion (should be out of moderation soon) I posted.

Assuming you are running Rusted Pack File Manager

1) open up all_reskin_i_by_dr pack file in the RPFM, then expand the variantmeshes directory.
2) Go to the search box, bottom left. Type "silverin" and you will see some folders/directories.
3) Expand each dropdown until you see the silverin entry for that table.
4) Delete those entries.
5) go back to the DB directory-->then Variants_Tables folder/directory. At the bottom of that list you will see @hv_hef. Click on that and you will see in the table on line #5 the entry for silverin guard.
6) Right-click to delete that entire row.

7) SAVE AS some other name, below load order for !Silverin_guard (so test_dryrain or whatever you want)
8) De-Select the original Dryrain entry and select your new altered mod.
9) Congrats you're now a modder and the two mods should be fully compatible.

@doggfather I imagine going to the v...variable meshes? tables and putting in !silverin or whatever the table is. Right click on a table or in the menu it should have "rename." Use typical alphanumerical ordering to determine it. Well more than number as ! or @ will come before 1silverin. When you do something that would load in same part of db as a dryrain skin, but give it higher priority, it should work. This works for me.

@Doggfather You need to put it lower in the load order so it loads after. Mods higher up in the load order will be overwritten by mods in lower spots. (When applicable, of course)

So yeah. Maybe that will help.

I think you'd be better off editing each table in this mod and making sure it's loading 'alphabetically' before dryrain's reskins. It works for me.

Hello. This doesn't work when used together with Dryrain's All in one Reskin, even though this mod is higher up on the load order. Is there any fix for this? Thank you.

Sounds like a different mod conflict and nothing related to mine as my mod doesn't touch anything outside of that specific unit.

Dont know if thats a mod conflict with an other (i use plenty of it) or a side effect of your mod, but when i use it and playing orcs i got a little bug on research screen (scrap icon is replaced by a white square).

Silverin Guard reskin is postponed until I see what CA comes with (I want to know what they will do with the helmet addition), for now I'm working on a cinematic-level Alarielle retexture that should be posted soonish.

This is weirdly causing my game to crash in the loading screen when starting a battle. Load bar gets to about 95% and crashes. I've pinpointed it to simply just this mod. Sucks because this mod is super great, the vanilla skin of Silverin Guard is absolute trash.
