You only get naval archers, no land units.
The archer units are additional and don't replace any vanilla unit
I think I could update it but I'm missing the ambition. If I would like to play Rome 2 again I would certainly update my mods.
Roman Archer mods will be updated this month.
Therefore I have a description and Screenshots
-->Ok, you need everytime 2 things (building+technology)
-->You should upgrade existing archers to the next level
Recruitment: Roman military main aux 2, Roman port large military 2
Technology: Roman military management training reforms
Recruitment: Roman military main aux 3, Roman port large military 2
Technology: Roman military management mercenary assets
Recruitment: Roman military main aux 4, Roman port large military 3
Technology: Roman military management remuneration reforms
Recruitment: Roman military main aux 4, Roman port large military 4
Technology: Roman military management professional soldiery
I will think about it and maybe offer something. The demand is great. 112 follower wanted to have it
I have lots of requests because this 250 men per unit but unfortunately my mod should and will be a mod for expand the vanilla roman units. I know it's bad for someone but everyone can use my mod for private modding. Feel free to use my files for your own creation. It's very simple to change the units via pfm (packfilemanager). It's not my intention make mods for mods ;) My mods are a necessary improvement for the weak original rome 2 roman units. I'm sorry about that.
i got it now i tryed out what you said and it works i just got to make sure my building lvl is same as tech lvl thats what was getting me i had higher tech than buildings. thanks for the help. On a final note do you think you will ever edit this mod to do a 240 unit spread instead of 120 or 160 i forget which it was. i did read that you had mentioned its been a long time and you really rather not but i was just curious if thats a quick fix or not it be cool for people like me who like to play the game with realism mods like the 240 legion pack for emersion and all that stuff. If not its cool still an awsome mod and the archers are awsome.
so I must recruit them first when available then upgrade them once I research next building and they will still be available to recruit? Or are you saying that once I go beyond the upgrade threshold of aux lvl 2 they will no longer be available to recruit and the only thing I can do from then on is just upgrade the ones that I have.
@ Yorick Hunt
Thanks. Can u confirm that the roman archer mod currently works in all details? I'm interesting because a few guys have problems to recruit archers at higher buildings for example @ Legatus. Maybe because doing something wrong or use other mods that make problems. It would be nice to have clearly information about that. I haven't install the game or playing rome since long long time therefore if it's not needed to have a look into the files via pack file manager I would be pleased.
