I was patching this locally yesterday, because the alternative mod was taken off workshop. I can upload it to steam if there's interest.

The mod Peperos provided no longer works, as the mod has been removed from the workshop, it seems.

the issue witht he sequel is that it works on EVERYTHING and you cant toggle anything. so things like particle accelerators from anti matter acceleration just dont work anymore

It seems like the revamed version got a sequel and the updated version of this mod got pulled out from the workshop

I really needed this. My colonist was refueling each lamp one by one and only taking wood for 1 refuel each time and was getting crazy! Thank you!!

Yup, that's what it means. Try it on on a new map. Place 100 torches and you will see how boggy the refuel job can be.

So it basically means free light and heat apart from the build cost? Pretty OP if so. As for the refueling job being laggy, how is that "felt" in game? Is it like a lag spike every few minutes or something when the job ticks?

I prefer tribal starts and taking it slow with research. My most recent colony is pretty big and has /tons/ of lights and my basic work pawns are getting nothing else done between having to refuel everything ffff.

The refueling job clogs the game down if you have a good amount of fueled lights.

So what is it about needing fuel that causes the lag problem? I don't know enough about what makes the game lag to understand why this happens.

That, of course, is probably why my game always ends up lagging like Hell; most of my run-throughs end because I just get too frustrated with the lag and start again.
