Due to the Fallout Collaboration Project I'm going to cease support for my Fallout mods, I made these mostly for my personal enjoyment and the FCP is just superior in every way possible. I want to thank everyone that downloaded or endorsed my fallout mods, it meant a lot to me. I give full permission to update or continue this mod to anyone that wants to, just give credit.

Due to the fallout collab project i think im going to switch to alien themed mods. essentially the SS13 CM type stuff but for rimworld if anyone knows what that is. So Colonial Marines, Company military contractors and UPP etc. I might do a visual overhaul at some point but Red Scare is so good I think it's superior in many ways. I'll still maintain this because its my first real mod project that wasnt just me messing around in Notepad++ and Photoshop.

Man I didn't realize you got caught in covid until I came to view your reply. Glad you made it through and a late congratulations to you. Quite a relief for me. No need to push yourself too hard and take your time lad, your health is our wealth. As long as you're with us, fine mods will come out.

sure, might do something with it. Makes me really happy you've enjoyed this mod, i spent a lot of time learning to mod this game to make it. I've been thinking about making a visual upgrade of the mod, this was some of the first sprites I ever made and Red Scare was the spurr that made me wanna step up my game a bit.

Has been one of my favs for a long time.
Plus, I recently viewed and tried another mod called Red Scare (seems somebody's been trying to make a whole series of Fallout related mods, and I believe he'll make a Greatkhan faction later) which has rather similar content like yours.Ever interested to have a look or get compability with it?

The reworked and completely rebuilt "Great Khans" faction is now released. Not as large as this mod but still another faction to check out for your Fallout inspired playthrough of Rimworld

Mod has been updated, I tested it a bit and it should be fine. I'm debating adding the human version as an alternative download since some may want it instead.

I did some minor balance things I noticed while playtesting. Mostly making the pistol slightly more inaccurate and making the battle rifle not just a cheaper bolt action rifle.

Hello everyone! I was pretty sick in covid at the end of november beginning of december, now ive been in this sort of daze mind soup since i got better. I'm gonna try to get the ghouls compatible version out today or tomorrow, it should be simple enough.

Sadly i've been tested positive for Covid-19, I'm really tired and likely will not release within the near future. i'll do what i can to release the Khan mod within the next few days but can't promise anything. I'm taking it easy and won't push myself to much right now. Sorry folks.:steamsad:

I'm working on a remake of the great khan faction i made for 1.1. Complete with new apparel plus improvements and changes from the original. Then I'll make a Fallout mercenary factions with Talon Company, Regulators and Gunners. It propably be out sometime next month, hopefully the Khan remake will be out this week-end

I dig it. You did well. Seems a bit powerful, though if you play on a higher difficulty which I am sure most people do these days, it kind of equals itself out. Hope you do more. If you did hit up the Boomers, Talon company...or even the Regulators; I will be subbing post haste. Amazing work on the art. Cannot wait to see more.

(You should just make your own ghoul race and add it into the entire thing.)

Attention brave comrades of the PLA!

I've made an (largley untested but should be fine) update to 1.2. I've changed the faction to be all human instead (sadly since the ghouls mod isnt updated) and I've changed some descriptions and backstories to make sense with this difference.

@Vaeringjar Hi, thanks for liking my mod! I've just started my uni studies so I dont have all that much time these days, I'l look into making a 1.2 version soon. Yes the ghouls mod is needed as of right now, I might make an intermediate non-ghoul version in the meantime so it's still usable.

World generation gets borked when I use this mod in my setup. Worked fine in 1.1. A shame since the mod is great :)

Does it work without the ghouls mod? Ghouls doesn't seem to work with 1.2

The mod should be compatible with 1.2. See no reason for it being otherwise. There's most likely going to be a small error about it being the wrong version of Rimworld but Il fix that once I can. I'm sadly unable to update it until at least a day or two. If ypu're annoyed about the issue just make a local copy and change the supported versions field in the about XML to 1.2. That ought to fix it

100 nicknames

- Added custom settlement names

Bases are named after wrecked ships, pre-war POW camps and buissness fronts as well as covert military outposts of various kinds.

@Settlerking I like both ideas for the factions. Personally, I like the idea of the Talon Company more (mostly because I'm big fan of them XD) but the Boomers would be great too. I say go which either one you feel more passionate doing!

I'm doing a playthrough with this mod starting today. I'm coming with a balance patch after I've noted balance issues. I'll work on a new smaller fallout faction in the off time with that. I'm leaning Fo:3 Talon company or F:NV Boomers. Depends on what I feel like doing. Boomers is def easier (no artwork really needed) but it has some quirks I need to work out before I'm comfortable releasing a faction mod. Talon company requires more artwork which isn't my specialty but is a bit more straight forward concept wise. Let me know if anyone is prefered over the other. I also have a secret project I'm working on which will be relesed after that. It's also a Fallout faction, one most seem to have forgotten, but still pretty awesome.

Update live:

As well as general bugfixes this update includes many new "toys" in the Remnant arsenal. Some lifted from the games, some inspired by real world equipment. Added a Remnant player faction, Use the scenario editor to play with it.

New weapons, new clothing, armor and of course spider drones! are the main features of this update. Check description for more details.

@El jojo I've noticed that while playtesting. I'm planning to update the mod this week, mostly bugs and balance fixes and mabye some patches to add integration of various mods aswell.

I wanted to report an incoherence concerning the stealth suit's stealth values with the framework.
When only the suit itself is worn, the value is at 70%, but when both the suit and headgear are worn, it actually decreases the value to 62%, while it should be the opposite.
