Hey, this is a nice mod. I was wondering if you could make a 1.5 verision of this mod, but only if you have the time to do so. I don't want to be like others and press you. Take your time, but i would appreciate it if you did update the mod.
seabazian 6 Dec, 2023 @ 11:58am
i will do so when possible, although i have reason to believe that the modset i use, although not relating to hunger, possibly could be conflicting
GeodesicDragon  [author] 6 Dec, 2023 @ 8:32am
@seabazian Check your hediffs. The nullifier only affects hunger rate to a certain limit; some hediffs can exceed that limit, thus causing pawns to get hungry.
seabazian 5 Dec, 2023 @ 3:29pm
completely useless - does not work as advertised
it does not remove hunger at all, as my pawns still get hungry
i have literally no mods that relate to food whatsoever
Vardath 7 Nov, 2023 @ 9:56pm
Just found, caps consciousness at 90% instead of cutting 10% off existing.
Vardath 7 Nov, 2023 @ 4:07am
Nice, thanks.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 6 Nov, 2023 @ 9:45am
@Vardath Pawns with a nullifier installed will add a (very large) negative amount to a caravans remaining food supply. However, as long as there is still food in the caravan for other pawns, nobody should go hungry.
Vardath 6 Nov, 2023 @ 3:43am
How does this affect caravans? Had problems with a similar mod.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 5 Nov, 2023 @ 3:51pm
I've fixed the issue with hunger still going down. Turns out I forgot to update a couple of patches, so the new setting was being overwritten with the old one. :csgoskull:
Delendar 30 Oct, 2023 @ 4:31pm
I'm having the same issue but i don't recall installing any other mod that affects hunger. In any case if the colonist has that implant on them hunger just shouldn't decay, but it does anyway.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 28 Sep, 2023 @ 11:48am
@SlapAndSpit Pawns with this installed shouldn't get hungry at all, so either there's something wrong somewhere or you are using a ton of mods which add things that affect hunger rate.
SlapAndSpit 27 Sep, 2023 @ 7:18pm
Got my pawns nutrition up to 100 with the stomach installed but still the pawn gets hungry fast. What should I do, was there a fix or is it a gene causing it?
seabazian 7 Aug, 2023 @ 5:58pm
The food need is going down, and, yes, I have checked if I have any food mods, or potential conflictions.
دانيال أيفان مولا 11 Apr, 2023 @ 11:38am
Yeah, im wondering which rn, my nose tells me it might be something before biotech ill let u know if i find
GeodesicDragon  [author] 11 Apr, 2023 @ 9:21am
@دانيال أيفان مولا You must be using other mods that affect the pawn's hunger rate.
دانيال أيفان مولا 11 Apr, 2023 @ 12:44am
My pawn still eating, the food need still going down
GeodesicDragon  [author] 9 Apr, 2023 @ 12:07pm
@دانيال أيفان مولا It should work with Biotech.
دانيال أيفان مولا 9 Apr, 2023 @ 11:22am
Im guessing this works with biotech when the hunger rate increase as you add more genes, right?just came back to playing rimworld and i remember i used to wait for this mod lol
laza boi 5 Mar, 2023 @ 11:29am
i think a glitch in the code or something makes it so the food offset only work with royalty
tankuwell 5 Feb, 2023 @ 3:02pm
I have many mods installed and it must be conflicting with another, I am thinking maybe ones that effect hunger rates from Genes....but just a thought.
ChunkyLoverAdam 3 Jan, 2023 @ 11:46am
thank you for solving my problem it was a mod conflict i dont know what mod but it started working when i tuned half of them off
GeodesicDragon  [author] 31 Dec, 2022 @ 5:10pm
@ChunkyLoverAdam Must be a conflict with another mod, as I don't appear to be having that issue.
ChunkyLoverAdam 31 Dec, 2022 @ 3:49pm
They still need to eat food and the hunger need goes down.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 31 Dec, 2022 @ 7:40am
@ChunkyLoverAdam I'm going to need more than that if you want me to solve any problem you might be having.
ChunkyLoverAdam 30 Dec, 2022 @ 9:25pm
does it not work anymore
GeodesicDragon  [author] 25 Oct, 2022 @ 4:46pm
@Rad I've literally just uploaded it. :VBCOOL:
Rad 25 Oct, 2022 @ 4:08pm
1.4 update?
Thoramyr 24 Oct, 2022 @ 11:15am
Hey not sure if this matters but the food nullifier heddiff has a blank stage attached to it.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 18 Oct, 2022 @ 2:24am
@I r b i s I am aware of this issue and am currently investigating.
دانيال أيفان مولا 17 Oct, 2022 @ 7:18pm
My pawns still eating and their food need decrease with time as normal, already operated them and put them the stomach "food nullifier"
GeodesicDragon  [author] 8 Oct, 2022 @ 6:00am
@yebex <li><hungerRateFactor>-2</hungerRateFactor></li> is already in the code, so I don't know why it wasn't working for you.
yebex 7 Oct, 2022 @ 11:43pm
Need to add </li><hungerRateFactor>-2</hungerRateFactor></li> after consciones capacity (worked for me)
yebex 7 Oct, 2022 @ 11:25pm
Doesn't work anymore, pawns still need to eat
John Helldiver 2 Oct, 2022 @ 4:00pm
I installe the nullifier to some prisoners and forced them to work (not with the slave system) but their food still goes down normally. Is it bugged for me?
GeodesicDragon  [author] 2 Oct, 2022 @ 8:34am
Installing a nullifier now reduces consciousness by 10%. This is enabled by default, but can be turned off by going to Options > More Mod Settings > Food Nullifier. You will need to restart RimWorld once the setting is changed.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 2 Oct, 2022 @ 6:21am
@Caz Don't worry, I wouldn't add a negative effect without including a way for people who don't want it to turn it off.
Caz 2 Oct, 2022 @ 5:56am
Please make that a separate mod if you add a negative to it. Or an option to turn off the negative. It's nice having this without any drawbacks.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 2 Oct, 2022 @ 3:11am
@Riddle 78 That's a fair point; what kind of detriment would you suggest?
Riddle 78 2 Oct, 2022 @ 1:05am
Personally,I think something like this should be saddled with a detriment of some sort. For example, the Circadian Half-Cycler comes with a -15% maximum Consciousness penalty. It's a small price to pay for permanent uptime, especially on slaves, but it's still something getting in the way of 100% absolutely perfect productivity.
Caz 25 Jun, 2022 @ 9:18am
Sweet! Found it amusing that smokeleaf was still causing munchies. lol
GeodesicDragon  [author] 25 Jun, 2022 @ 7:17am
@Caz: Fixed. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Caz 23 Jun, 2022 @ 12:05pm
So an amusing note: Neural Supercharger and Smokeleaf increase hunger rate, which means your pawns' hunger bar will slowly drain even with a nullifier installed.
Seipherwood 30 Jan, 2022 @ 5:57pm
Hm, i think Rah's is messing with this, finally found the stupid techprint and its back to n/a, but the n/a shows Rah's from What Mod Is That
GeodesicDragon  [author] 28 Jan, 2022 @ 5:07pm
@Seipherwood That's normal; since a pawn in the caravan doesn't need to eat, the game gets a bit confused. As long as you have food for your pawns without a nullifier, it shouldn't be a problem.
Seipherwood 28 Jan, 2022 @ 4:55pm
So when your in a caravan with this thing, is it suppose to show like -50k food? Lol
Seipherwood 27 Jan, 2022 @ 3:22pm
I ditched a couple of them and kept Rahs, Arcotech++, this and the no sleep one. ill see if it freaks out again :P
GeodesicDragon  [author] 27 Jan, 2022 @ 2:37pm

Oh, wow, holy hell; I, er, actually fixed this problem back in September 2021... but forgot to actually upload it anywhere. That's been rectified now, so hopefully everything should be fixed. If not, it's definitely a conflict with another mod.
GeodesicDragon  [author] 27 Jan, 2022 @ 2:26pm
@Seipherwood I can craft it just fine, so I'm not sure what the problem is. I see that you have a lot of mods installed; do any of them alter body parts or add other bionics? If so, there might be a conflict somewhere.
Seipherwood 27 Jan, 2022 @ 10:59am
Hm, when i try to craft it, i can't. It shows ... im guessing the stomach part as n/a instead of what it needs.

GeodesicDragon  [author] 3 Oct, 2021 @ 8:18am
@deansdw17 Once the nullifier has been installed, you'll need to force pawns to eat chocolate; as for meals, you could try, but I don't know if they'll actually do it.
