I also have the eingineer and it's drop sound is NOT item_hat_pickup. The halloween pocket boss works though. Maybe they didn't accept all changes and this is normal or I'm stupid or both.

rabscootle, after your changes got implemented, the avian amante item no longer plays a sound when it is dropped in the backpack. I think they messed it up. Thanks for your hard work otherwise. :)

@Ascended Chucklenuts To be fair, that's what the Workshop has always been about, submitting cosmetics and the sort. Not so much for submitting fixes or improvements to the game.

Yeah it's a bit of a controversial decision but I followed Valve's lead on that. They gave the Pocket Purrer item the gooey noise way back in 2012 and that's the only pet cosmetic with any assigned noises. So I'm just not contesting it.

While most people nowadays are focused on making war paints, beanies, and pocket pals, it's good to see there's people wanting to improve TF2's core mechanics. :cozyspaceengineersc:

No way to use since items_game is blocked from being modified. All we can do is hope that someone @ TF Team gives it a look and implements the changes.
