For those mentioning this mod no longer working, there is another mod now available on Nexus with options for different station configurations. I haven't tested it fully, but it was just released in Aug '24, so I'm guessing it is probably fully compatible with 7.x. Also has options for some different designs, textures, and asteroid/anomaly presence.

This mod don't work now. The attach point you get with out mod works but no other points work, even with new game

Every attach point except for 3 and 5 are misaligned, as are the spires save for 1's. The lettering is also misaligned for 1 and 2. 4 and 6 and incomplete ring sections. Do you know what program can be used to edit the model itself so I can fix this?

This is a great MOD when you can remove that damn asteroid.

Are you working on or is there any chance you can work on a MOD that removes that totally, infuriating and 100% annoying, water born maggot called Boso Ta?
The times I've been in a conversation with someone of just pressed "F" to open a door or interact with something and BANG! Boso Ta snuck in and now I'll have to chat to the maggot for the next 5 mins while my ships getting pounded by Xenon.

Can you please make a symmetrical version of this? It would like to create a public blueprint for this model but if you try to connect the docking points together in the middle you will notice that they are slightly off, which causes clipping of modules.

Hi Dumpshock,

Can you please look at the 6.0 compatibilty? The log file shows a lot of collision errors.
I want to use this mod again. :-)

I assume you can use the existing hull-, mesh- and collision files of the vanilla headquarter folder landmarks_player_hq_01_research_data.

As an update to the below, I got a chance to test this with the latest 6.0 Beta 2 and experienced no issues with crashing or the like that appeared related to this mod.

6.0 Beta 1 did have reports on the Egosoft Beta forums of crashes related to the HQ and were directly tied to the Beta itself, supposedly fixed in Beta 2.

Best not use use with the 6.0 Beta then.

Haven't had a chance to look, but considering the number of changes coming down the pipe, doesn't surprise me.

I will take a look at it when I get a chance, but I would not expect an update for the beta branch.

Hello, I have the problem that I always get my game hanging at the same point, I take it at the point where Borone escapes from the staion and I have to defend the ship because the game hangs up, is there a possibility that this won't happen or some other solution

Is it possible to swap the 6 Km doughnut with a copy of an admin center or would it get too glitchy with relocating the lab, office and other rooms?

Wouldn't it be fun to have a version with an Space Anomaly in the place where the big rock used to be? It would even fit the lore IMHO

The last time I played with it with the asteroid, the AI had a very bad habit of flying into the asteroid and getting stuck in there while you were in sector. Besides visual, removing the asteroid prevented this from happening.

There may have been improvements since then to fix that issue, but can't confirm for sure as I usually play with it removed.

This is the PlayerHQ and you can get it from scanning stations with option 2 in your ship. You should find a signal and eventually will get the correct one that will start that quest line. The PHQ will also let you do research for teleportation, stealing of station blueprints, and modifications for your ships.

This isn't a blueprint that you can purchase. It's a modification for the player HQ that you can acquire through playing through the story missions.

If you do not have it yet, start looking through any story missions that you may not have done yet.

Hard to say. Are you getting any logs generated?

You could also try to start the game in Debug mode. That will force a log to be generated live. Then just perform the action you're having issues with, then check the log to see what it says.

There should be instructions for enabling it over on the Egosoft forums (add -logfile debuglog.txt as a startup parameter), or there's a .bat on the forums that you could get that makes it a bit easier.

Possibly, but a bit beyond the scope of what this is for now?

All of the assets used as far as I can tell are slightly modified stock Egosoft X4 assets.

All I'm doing is trying to maintain the original mod while doing small improvements and keeping it updated as updates come out.

Also, for those interested, I am working on a version that includes the asteroid. Just doing some testing to make sure I haven't broken anything. Hope to have it out in the next day or two.

Ever consider doing a REALLY crazy PHQ project? Like replacing the PHQ with a ship (Carrier/Flagship).. Could relocate Mr. Boron Man and the research stuff to it piggy-backing on the "More Ship Rooms" mod.

Apparently the PHQ scientist quest not advancing when you dock is some weird bug going on even in vanilla... Workaround is to simply visit the science lab on the station and the quest will continue as normal. (I've deleted my earlier comment since it was not caused by this mod).

I noticed things were a little off when I placed a 3 large dock onto the station, it was on an angle from the plot square, but it didn't worry me in the least as unless you are in the plot screen you would never know.. :) Pic to show - https://i.imgur.com/PFuzP8U.jpg

@Mav - This was pretty much a 1:1 port and I don't really have much intent to change the layout of the ring. My goal was to update it to use a patch method that would attempt to be more compatible with future updates. There are more than a few things that are off center. From what I saw, most of it is pieces that were stitched together on a coordinates grid defined in the xml. Going through and fixing that really wasn't very much in the scope of me getting it back up and running.

As for the issue with the quest, I haven't played in a bit. Was there an update recently? The last time I tested, it seemed to work okay.
