For some reason it never occurred to me that since saiyans were from Dragon Ball some of their items ids would be listed as "dragon" instead of "saiyan" which would mess with things
Found a patch and it works perfectly now
So given this something is definitely wrong. What addons for draconis do you have, as well as do you have the original? Do you have any other mods that might relate to the word "dragon" as they might mess with that as well, I do believe a dragonball mod had some kind of issue.
I am very confused as to how this happened, maybe try reinstalling the original draconis mod (maybe it got corrupted somehow? We are in the millennia maximum for solar activity so idk maybe it got zapped.)
I always enjoyed getting an item's worth from them. Made getting rich oh so easy!
"op": "replace",
"path": "/diet",
"value": "omnivore"
}
Your _metadata file should have the line (incase you use my patch you should include it to load over it, if it doesnt work it's because I am dumb and said the wrong name, try "Draconis Balance Patch (+FU, Recipe, Other Fixes)" otherwise):
"includes" : ["FrackinUniverse", "Draconis Race(Humanoid Dragon Race)", "FrackinRaces", "Draconis Exploit and Recipe Patch"],
{
"op": "replace",
"path": "/diet",
"value": "THE_DIET_HERE"
}
and the diets are under the FU file fr_diets.config under the scripts folder, in fact by patching it you can add custom diets there.
So a patch for this should look like a folder called species with a file inside for the race, for draconis it should be a file called dragon.raceeffect.patch (FU should include a raceeffect file already) and inside it should say:
If I catch anything else, I'll let you know! Thanks again!
In last the weapons, since they have alternatives.
I think to know why the Bloodbound Sword family of weapon won't let you attack: it won't let you attack again after the third strike until the auras it applies on your character expire.
Like bandages or stimpack won't let you use them again before they expire. Seem to be the same behavior!
The fix for that could be to copy the behavior of the Flesh Lance, which gives you a buff when you hold it, which expires quickly after you switch to an other item!
That could be the solution!
Afterward, it would only be a matter of moving the misplaced Expert's Bloodbound Sword recipe from the Synthesis Lab to the Hell Forge, and I guess most of the issues would have been addressed.
Thanks for the timely answer, but yeah I do realize that's a lot to consider at once.
For information, I observed exactly the same behavior with my usual mod collection AND with just the draconis mod, patch and Xbawks Character extender and nothing else.
I haven't tried with FU at all.
Indeed the most urgent was the outright game-crash from the broken items.
As to an order of priority... I would personally say the next thing to fix would be the armors.
Sure, it's a bit boring of a fix, but while there are other Draconis weapons that work besides the broken Bloodbound swords... there is only one family of armors, so there is no alternative to the broken armor tier-ing, hence it's more important.
Concerning the error on trying to craft the generic-ed items:
A fair amount of this:
Could not instantiate item '[dragonstaff2, 1, {}]'. (JsonException) No such key in Json::get("particles")
and
Could not instantiate item '[dragonstaff3, 1, {}]'. (JsonException) No such key in Json::get("particles")
But here you go for the pastebin: https://pastebin.com/ZPmr6qYw
That's what I found so far.
To make a list of what else I see:
- Well, trying to craft the generic items kick you out the game with an error (see next comment, character limit)
- The super dupper weird armor labeling and tiering
- I only see 2 "guns" (white 'Bloodstorm mod:LM-1' and blue 'Flux Beam' ), and 1 claw.. is it normal or just missing/incomplete content?
- The fact that we can't attack more than 3 times with the Bloodbound Swords (I suspect because of the effects it applies, it doesn't let you attack again until the effects expired)
Also, in the armor section, stuff seem... inconsistant.
Taking the battle hardened chestpiece for example, and a stat to judge the item's "powerlevel":
White item frame - White name - 22.5 armor
Green item frame - Yellow name - 33 armor
Blue item frame - White name - 59.5 armor
Blue item frame - Red name - 36 armor
Purple item frame - Blue name - 52.5 armor
I see you just pushed an update, I'll try it and tell you what.
Anyway will removing background affect other player's ships? maybe i can do it in my saves by myself by deleting some files idk i'm know nothing about it tbh. Let me know when you'll get some progress in modding it
Also when i choose ship at start frackin send me notification that "background image is brocken"
And there is what it looks like https://imgur.com/a/G1eXcJ0 i hope this would work
