For some reason, I can't load any game with this mod anymore (nor create new one)... using the same mods as before. So far I am the only one to report this so maybe it's isolated. Removing it solved it but in total I had to remove 3 other mods as well that were compatible before.
I do not think this is a mod incompatiblity between these 4 mods, they all worked fine before and haven't been updated recently. The game was, most likely. Note I have all DLCs activated.
Thank you for this mod in any case, I always thought it was unfair to be so late behind if you had a really bad spawn.

Some one should tell PotatoMcWhisky about this.

I wish you all the possible luck and strength in finishing your degree and everything 💪💪💪 Doing the same myself, so at the moment I don't really have time for the game anyway. Looking forward to playing with this though - it really is a godsend for suboptimal starting locations! 😁

not really busted if you spawn in a desert as canada.

really though I see this mod as a compensation for getting pretty bad starts, and its not like its utterly insane, if you waste turns trying to find the most crazy op spot to settle you'll still be behind in production but at least your civs and sciences are still stable, it's a trade-off.
Dionysos 13 Jul, 2020 @ 12:37pm
kinda busted, you arent supposed to move around that much at the start, you should settle by turn 4. the maori are different and get a special bonus for it
David 12 Jul, 2020 @ 12:42am
the best would be that the first settler could create unity while wandering the map, a bit like a people migrating.

This especially helps Lady Six Sky, since the Maya first city really needs to not go on the coast, or right next to a big desert or large mountain ranges.

It does not stack. This mod, just like the part of the Kupe LUA, is designed to give civs that choose to move their starting settler a fighting chance in culture and science, and to make not settling in the immediate vicinity a viable option. Kupe still gets a bonus population and a bonus builder, but now everyone gets +2 science and +2 culture until they settle their first city.
storm_pup 8 Jul, 2020 @ 7:26am
or does it stack with their already starting stuff?
storm_pup 8 Jul, 2020 @ 7:25am
Can I make a suggestion, if your giving it to everyone then maybe boost the Civ who gets it already to compensate???
