@eqN: If you're concerned about ai empires using Iconian civics, I made sure to set each civic to have 0 weight so that the ai won't be able to pick them up at random unless you pick it for them.

@AinzOalGown: It was a problem, but it should be fixed now in the last update.

Love this mod. So well done! One oddity I noticed is any species can use the civics even if they're not Iconian. It would be nice if it were possible to disabled this somehow. Otherwise, and regardless, amazing stuff!

Quick question. Does anybody else have problems with establishing colonies via gateway? The planet gets renamed, but no colony is generated. I´m playing on 4.0.20

could also be a mod conflict tho, i have about 200 installed.

I just so happen to stumble upon this beauty of a species mod of one of my favorite star trek races, I love to see this beaut updated when possible.

@Rylanor: After the fall of their empire, Iconians converted their bodies into living weapons to survive. While they're effectively immortal from the process, but they can't reproduce as far as I can tell. They're a near-extinct ancient species, so I wanted to roleplay that in this mod where you have servitors to do the pop expansion for your main species. However, if you don't like playstyle, then you can not use the Iconian species trait or use their alternate trait. You wouldn't miss out on anything else regarding their technology research if you do that.

May I ask why you need this? Is there something wrong with the building?

You have Herald pops and/or robots. Ancient Ionians DO reproduce, just slowly

The Herald Spheres add Naval Capacity as expected, but they dont seem to add to Fleet Command limits? A bug?

@Ori: Again, while I would like to use those models, I have no idea how to rip assets from that mmo and convert them over to this game. I have no plans to do that anytime soon.

It honestly shouldn't be that difficult, as you could just have all the weapons come out of the core. There's only 5 ships that we know of unless you count the Obelisk, which makes it 6.

Nevermind, found the solution. Just gotta remove the prescripted empire file from the mod folder and all is good :)

Anyway to have the prescripted iconian empire not spawn? Would like to use the other features of this mod and not the prescripted empire.

Love this mod but one small problem. In my current game, I have the Iconians as another empire but for some strange reason ALL my robotic pops keep changing their species portraits to the Iconian Construct robotic pop portraits. Non-stop without me doing anything to alter them and if I try to revert the portraits back to what I want, 30 days later it changes it back to Construct portraits on it's own. Wtf is this? Sure, it is not game breaking but man alive it is driving me nuts. This bug is not effecting any other robot pops in the galaxy, just in my empire.

I would love it if there was a ship set, like you could use the ships from Star Trek Online, but also make some of your own based on those designs.

@Cao Cao: Ok, I checked and I don't see the issue you described. The city appearances show up on Ancient Iconia's world view. Try to unsub and resub to make sure you get all the files or changes from the update to see if that fixes it. Otherwise, it's working on my end.

Ultimate RP setup for this. Combine this with a birch world origin from gigastructural engineering. Your home system will be abandoned and you live in a giant "dyson" sphere out of reach of the other empires.

These portraits are amazing. Sheesh. I thought that was cool enough, but then I tried the Herald sphere civic, and serious fun there. I've always wanted my own private gateway system. Huge respect and appreciation.

It is STNH, just on a smaller screen (I checked the LCARS UI page and saw Trained Officers and Dilithium to the right of Fleet Capacity, so mine must br merging them into another because of my smaller resolution). (I see no point running higher res, can't see the pixels, and I'm not putting an exponential load on my PC for no real benefit).

I also checked and found the other 2 Iconian civics there (one of which is from-start-only, and the other requires the one in the screenshot).

So it seems STNH doesn't overwrite custom species/empire (which makes sense, unless there's only a finite number of slots and you have to pick one, but seeing as there's no mention of that on custom species/empire mods it seems unlikely), but the issue is STNH currently doesn't let you create a new species/empire, and converting an empire (most things except Logo) requires things like portrait IDs, which I have no idea how to find.

That image isn't STNH it doesn't have the crew on the resource bar
