It give me an insparation for my Lockpicking Rebalanced mod.

The idea was both to make slavery a very unattractive option, and to make it so if you are caught, outside help becomes a bigger focus.
You can still escape alone, of course. But the improved locks were meant to give a simple hint that you really shouldn't. I just found it far too easy to get out solo, and it made slavers a much lesser threat.
Also - it's a mod, you don't have to use it :P
In either case, I've been working on larger scale personal projects, and modding has always been a in-the-moment type thing. If I come back to the game sometime soon maybe, but I don't see that as very likely.
Perhaps you could pitch the idea to the rest of the community, though :)
My only issue is that if I want to use tools to break an npc's shackles they don't stop moving - if you attempt lockpicking on a roaming slave they stop and wait - and so it cancels out the action. I'm assuming this is a game limitation?
