For anyone still wondering how to use them in campaign, using pack file manager open up the file (004_athena.pack), open up the 'db" tab and open the "building_units_allowed_tables" tab and edit the "athena_building_units_allowed", change all of the selections under the "building" tab to "greek_military_light_4","greek_military_heavy_4" or "greek_military_heavy_5" depending on where you want to recruit them. These are the helenic military buildings (mercenary camp, royal barracks and monument of leonidas respectively)

awesome units but I won't use them unless you make athena guards for athens only, same with immortals and your only units.

Awesome! My only problem is it doesn't seem to give me 320 troops like all the other units. Any chance you could update it to be compatible with that mod?

You guys are missing the point. if these are Mythological units, then it makes sense that they were developed duringg the age of heros or earlier. that was nearly 3,000 years ago, so it makies sense that in that time many other greek states would have adopted these units.

Just a thing to remember, if to many factions are using the same units to fight against each other i think the uniqueness of it is far away, it could be Much more realistic, like "Greatal13" says, "and it should only able to get it with Athena's Temple to Tier IV" Coz its a "Unique unit"

Another is the sons of zeus, very nice looking unit but i dont see them fighting in the macedonian army really. They shud Keep the Game Realistic in all states.
The thespian army already fights for athens and sparta etc, coz it was like that in real life.

They should stop giving hoplites to the same greek states but give them their own style of hoplites like it would be far more realistic.

@Greatal Athena didn't only give her blessing to Athens. She gave blessings to those who worshipped her. Athens is named in her honor but it doesn't mean everyone in Athen's has her blessing.

Only say that because, Athena chose Athens as her protected city, she would give her blessing to them. and one more thing, the unit icon card is a spearman.

@Aeacus - Athena does not mean Athens, Athena is a greek mythological Goddess of wisdom and warfare that all greek nations worshipped.

Why they always give this new units to 5 or 4 factions or al the greek states, that annoys me... shudnt Athena's Royal Guard be only for Athena? and for example Sparta's royal guard for Sparta, epirot sagaris for epirus, etc.. Every faction his own unique units, not the same special unit spread over 5 - 6 factions...plz Hows that in real life? "This is a leet nice looking unit but shud only be available for Athens!" Like all factions shud have their OWN looking units not the same one's...plz

All of your most recent mods aren't working when I install them and it is always your mods that seem to be the problem. Any ideas what the reason could be? It's only the barbarian horde mod onwards.
