Thanks, not getting a fold option on this particular pad. Must be glitched. I have deployed a different heli pad since my post and am getting the fold option.

@CJB you can see if you can find the fold options otherwise just use COT's ESP to delete it.

i have installed all 6 mods (CF, COT. DayZ EX, DayZ EX licsenced, DayZ EX core and DayZ EX Vehicles) but when i start my server it said there are only 5 mods and 1 missing mod, i have verified game and mod but the problem hasnt been solved, it still kick me out of my server

Got it running on my server yesterday, seems like it has a conflict with the mod "FixVehiclePosition" (not that suprising). After removing that mod this mod started to work as intended.

@HuntTheWin the issue was never fixed by the expansion team it is possible to fold them but you have to go really close to them and just try to fin the fold option sometime it's harder to find for some reason

I would love it if you could figure out something like this....

Land Heli on or near pad.
Mouse Over Pad and get the context option up to park heli.
When you select Park Heli the mod saves the helis type/state and deletes it
Render a fake heli on the pad to show there is actually one there.
Give the player the new context option to unpark the heli.
When selected the fake heli is removed and the real one is spawned on the pad.

WHY ?

Vehicles are constantly despawning, bouncing all over the places , some times they just slide off and go for a walk, other times the server just deletes them for no reason, if we have this option to park them you would be essentially removing an object from the game world that the server is constantly having to do physics on freeing up server resources while still having the illusion that its still there, while at the same time protecting the heli from physics issues and from random server wipes.

@One Shot not really, there might be other mods you can remove in order to get it to work but its just about figuring out what is more important to your servers meta

@One Shot if it's an issue with the server not booting it's the compiler freeze more commonly known as the server core freeze, it's a BI issue with the enfusion engine there is an open ticket https://feedback.bistudio.com/T153090

@Lufty Ill TRY to explain what I noticed, its expansions base building pieces, they are thicker then DayZ default basebuilding items which is why when you build something for a helipad its not showing because the helipads are very thin part, so the expansion parts sometimes go over the helipad zone/piece and hard to access snap and pack options if that makes any sense to you good if not, dont know what to tell you, but try building the helipads on the ground, less of a hassle compared to building a helipad on top of a roof for now at least.

@Lt. Spike not sure I haven't hear of that before how large is the radius set to in the config? the larger the radius the harder the hit on performance when ever the snap action is called.

@yaNasTy.PENTA this shouldn't and can't reproduce this as it doesn't do anything to the helis unless the snap action is called, does this happen all the time? or only some of the time and with any specific helis?

Tried the mod and after installing on my server I experienced massive performance issues using the default config generated on the first start of the mod. Server FPS was hopping between 10 and 200 every couple seconds and Helicopters still got launched up to 100m away from the pad on reset. I removed the mod from the server and reset again and performance returned to normal levels. Any ideas on why it would cause issues like this?

@SniperWolf It seems to be working on my end, make sure your SnapHeli.json is validated against https://jsonlint.com/ as if its not valid the config will revert to the default config which it's disabled.

Please update or something. You cannot interact with the helipad at all even with the EnablesnapHeliAction set to 1. Theres no option to add it and helis are still flipping
