I was going to add recipes and stuff, similar to factorio, but i kindof didnt structure this addon in an easily expandable way, which is why the addon is not really in development anymore. I apreciate the suggestion though
Install Wiremod. I am not planning to work much on this for the forseeable future
[Fennecai's Industry] lua/entities/industry_button/shared.lua:125: attempt to index global 'WireLib' (a nil value)
1. unknown - lua/entities/industry_button/shared.lua:125
Not canceled but theres not an ETA either. i plan to eventually return to this but its gonna be a long time probably
did you do it in the right order? the clamp needs to be attached to the generator only after the water wheel is attached to it
1. SpawnFunction - lua/entities/industry_button/shared.lua:108
2. Spawn_SENT - gamemodes/sandbox/gamemode/commands.lua:758
3. unknown - gamemodes/sandbox/gamemode/commands.lua:823
4. unknown - lua/includes/modules/concommand.lua:54
yes, that'd be great. :)
If you want the errors i can send them to you
there never was.
@Friendly Russian
what errors specifically?
it just gives errors in console
sorry, i dont think i can help. i cant seem to replicate the problem on my end so, i really dont know whats going on
please be more specific, i cannot debug it without further information.
did you read the description to set it up properly?
what do you mean exactly?
the generators function like pre-charged batteries when nothing is attached. they run out of power after a little bit and automatically pop off of the factory when they are depleted. attaching an info screen to both your generator and factory before connecting them to eachother will show this. :)
..that said though, if it just inexplicably runs forever, that might be a bug (or your using the admin factory which doesnt use power)
i am concidering wires of some kind; but like many of the other features i would like to add, it would require a significant rewrite
i agree. i strive to eliminate them. im only human though; so sometimes things slip through that i didnt notice previously.
i tried reproducing the issue; and it works fine on my end other than an error message.
but i'll still fix the error message in the next update.
oh, weird... yeah thats a problem. gonna put it on my to-do list at the top (not that the order matters)
hmm...im not sure what causes that. does it affect gameplay in any bad way?
what were you doing when this error happened?
i might look further into this at a later time, thanks for the report

help
the description says how to use.
I am not sure why the factory model is missing. nobody else has this problem with this addon.
Try running ``menu_cleanupgmas`` (or similar command) in the dev console, un-subscribe from "Fennecai's factory", and then restart gmod.
