For coop I couldn't tell you, I'm not sure I've had enough friends in my entire life to operate this thing with me ._.
However- I'm sure someone with relative advanced circuit and sub building experience could patch it, probably no small project but I think it would be possible with communication with the author or by just brute force removing or replacing broken systems or ones that you can't rework.
Subscribe and open it in the editor yourself if you'd like to get a bit of an idea of how big an undertaking that might be though :)
