Thank you for the suggestion! I may give that a shot and post it up here as an alternative; I'd just have to figure out what changes need to be made to the existing animation, and what to use as a sell animation that looks best. I won't have access to my desktop anymore (for awhile) in a few weeks so I wanted to wrap it up for now. Hopefully I can give that a go soon.

Instead of doing as a strike, do it as a M or L grapple, there, solved your problem about range and hitting the target.
