Hi, @breakwind, I hope I've done the region justice!

I used to cut timber on the Kirrama Range years ago

@Daisy-May, I love the patchwork of how the cane fields look on Satellite View on Google Maps, which is much of what prompted me to make it, although my great-grandfather was from up there, too. Sorry I missed Bambaroo. If I get some time, I might see if I can pull together another map for that area.

OH HEY, I'd never expect my home town here! sadly Bambaroo and Paluma range is a little far south to be apart of this map, I'm happy i found this.

@paulsmith-1969, cheers, mate! I've always loved maps, which is probably part of what draws me to games like this, and often derive as much joy from the map editor as I do from the game proper. I had a few maps I pulled together for TPF1, but had difficulties uploading them to the workshop, so it's good to be able to revisit them in TPF2 and actually share them for others to enjoy.

I deliberately set the final industrial outputs for towns to a single factory/refinery, so as to output 400 units and worked backwards to make sure that each link in the chain would be able to support that much finished product (although accidentally placed an extra farm), I may have made an error in my calculations, but I think it's right. I tried to place industries so freight trains will run full most of the time, I suspect that you've already observed this. I could have paid more attention to boxcars, and will be improve that in future maps (I have a few in the pipeline, but they're not ready yet).

Hello, @Smid, I have been playing this map for several weeks now, and I have to say this is the best map I have ever played. It is easy to set up a fairly profitable network and there is just the right ratio of industries and a good number of towns. Thank you for sharing this brilliant map.

Thanks, @paulsmith-1969, it was fun creating it and play-testing it. Much of the map is quite flat, so track building is relatively easy, however the mountains beyond offer some nice views if you ride along on a vehicle. The towns are fairly small, so should be able to play for quite some time without performance issues.

Hopefully you enjoy it, too!

Thank you, @AraxEthyr!

Hi, @paulsmith-1969, it's Very Large (not experimental), and square. I'll add mention to this in the description.
