That it does, though I no longer will be making or remaking models for this game, so unfortunately Hurdia will remain outdated.

The design for Hurdia needs to be revised. Its grabbing appendages were both positioned and angled towards the front.

i have try to remove all workshop item and just have your collection and can't unlock red worms too, i think is my pc the probleme.

no sorry i have unlock all fish and i don't have the food for all fish (i have use Hurdia for exemple of the food), you think i have to remove all other workshop file ? or delete all save file ? integrity of the file is good.

Strange, Hurdia uses the same food as Nectocaris and Opabinia so maybe unlocking those will unlock it? Blood worms are a DLC food and I just checked the code and it is identical to how the base game is formatted, it might be that you need to verify the integrity of your Megaquarium files

the food for the animal is not unlocking and i have the dlc and all other food, the red worms is the only missing food :'(

Do you mean the feed animation for Hurdia, or the food isn't showing correctly, or the animal isn't unlocking? If it is the food, that would be caused by not having the DLC, though I'm not sure if I understand your issue

No worries, it's an unusual mechanic so clarification can be needed.

What it sounds like is that you've started a sand box with limited availability and since all the prehistoric animals are set to be rare they are more likely to be set as only available through trades,purchases or missions than the vanilla animals at low ranks. As you progress the rest of them should show up as more trades and purchase offers are made, or you could start a new sand box with the "Everything Available" selected in animal availability

Hey, sorry if I'm being a bit of an idiot but how do I unlock the animals in this mod when I'm playing normal sandbox mode? I've seen people say they should appear in the research options but none appear for me, do they unlock at higher levels?
Just to mention they still appear for me in game, as I was offered to purchase several nectocaris, I just can't seem to find the option to purchase them normally.

A small new update, I've added custom rock compatibility to the smaller scenery items and added era tags to all the animals and scenery. These are based on when the genus was found in the fossil record

Update 1.3 is up! 2 new animals and a few bug fixes. The full list is in the change log.

The mod is complete and barring any DLC or game updates that need me to fix it, I will not be updating it any more. I hope everyone enjoys getting to see these ancient animals brought back to life!

Update 1.2 is up! 1 new animal and a couple changes to the categories. I might take a bit of a break from prehistoric creatures to learn how to make custom tanks in anticipation for some of the later eras

You're welcome! I had gone with the whole biofabrication angle so I could do a bit of speculating over the course of these mods, especially with animals we have little information about.

As for more to come, I'll do a few more for this pack before moving on to other eras

The fact that these unlocked through the science track confused me at first, because creatures. Then I realized it's because they have been 'resurrected' through SCIENCE! Clever.

I'm really torn on this one, because I'm not really interested in keeping extinct animals in this game... However, this mod is simply plain brilliant. The animals are top-notch, they are beautifully detailed and carefully researched, while simultaneously fitting smoothly with the style of the game. Seeing new models and animations is always a treat as well. I also love that you went with small, but incredibly fascinating, species that feels manageable in an aquarium. I guess I have to download it now, it's so well-made that you won me over.

The trilobite is my favorite, it's such a distinct animal. Although the transparency of the Amiskwia makes them look really cool and the animation for the Haplophrentis is plain adorable!

My only critique is that it would be nice if they had their own categories to make them easier to find, but that's just my personal preference.
