In the command console, type:

help "bound ballista"

You should see something like:

SPEL: (02000BA95) "Bound Ballista"

Then type:

player.addspell 02000BA95

This should give you the spell. The actual ID probably won't be 02000BA95, I'm just using it as an example.

The Bound Ballista also conjures and auto-equips 100 Bound Arrows every time it is cast. When the bow is dispelled, these arrows disappear with the bow, but the next time you cast the spell, you'll get another 100 Bound Arrows.

So technically you don't get unlimited arrows, but you refresh your arrow supply every time you cast Bound Ballista, so ammunition isn't much of a concern to the player.

@jasperisnot3 It's powerful enough to play corpse billiards with. It's where you pile up some corpses, then send a corpse flying into the pile to see how widely the corpses scatter.

In short, it's an insta-kill weapon. And yes, I actually did try corpse billiards. Because I'm a horrible person when it comes to Skyrim.

I it an Insta-kill bow or is it just powerful enough to make it fun but not obliterate the enemy?

Hrm... Are you sure you typed in the console commands correctly? I don't see any other reason why that would happen.

It's possible that you typed in the wrong ID. You may have to use Page Up and Page Down to scroll through the results.

As for being unable to find the forge, I can't really help you there.

Couldnt find the forge,and though the codes came up when I used the console,I couldnt get them.It said could not sparse,..etc.

I've placed the spell tome near the Atronach Forge in the Midden, under the College of Winterhold. A lot of simple mods place items around Riverwood and Whiterun, so I try and avoid that for compatibility purposes, among other reasons. It makes more sense to put it in the College anyway.

A brief note, though: if you aren't a cheater, then maybe you shouldn't be using this mod in the first place. The bound ballista is WAY overpowered, and will level your archery pretty much instantaneously.

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out how to load the Dragonborn DLC content on the Creation Kit w/o crashing my old dinosaur of a computer. I'm thinking of maybe having a one-handed weapon with the Bloodskal Blade effect, assuming I can get that to work.
