just wondering cus im playing the last op of my first ever unit today and really wanna use this
playmovenow is the scripting command.
@Bosnian Bodybuilder; I actually have a script that does exactly that - makes the AI use it under specific instructions. I use it to simulate AI fleeing an area that enemies have overrun. It's very fun to shoot them in the back as they flee a trenchline for instance, just like the Brecourt scene in Band of Brothers.
*But* if you have ACE, make stamina recovery much faster so players have less down time. That's what I do for my unit. Stamina still exists but it's only a factor if you're constantly running. Not usually just hauling gear, unless you have a stupendous amount of gear like over 100 pounds.
If you're only using vanilla, you can change the weight coefficient too. This isn't as flexible but you can now carry more stuff at less stamina cost.
Seriously though, good on you keeping up development.

We're still gonna give it a shot and trust our players not to run everywhere like this.
I was hoping there would be a quick fix, but I wouldn't want to ask you to work extra just for our sake
Great mod nonetheless!
This mod is awesome to allow for a short burst of speed in combat, but if we can't limit for how long you can use it at once, all of our players end up abusing it to zoom around the map :S
Idk if that would be doable, but it would be amazing to have a setting to tweak the maximum sprint time
Some uniform methods and clarity is always appreciated when releasing mods.
