Does this mod control the cosmetics side of things at all? I recently had pathfinder armor that is invisible and makes my soldier a bobbing head. I don't know if I have to look at this mod's files or the general config of the game.

how well does this work alongside the Infiltrators disguises armor?

I'm seeing stuff in the configs to adjust the cost and time requirements, and to make it repeatable, but nothing that suggests the amount of armor received?

You can customize how the builds function in the respective config files (singular, multiple, repeatable, etc.)

So I got somethign strange in my game. The build function for these armors is listed as an [Upgrade] and the option disapears after I used them ocne but I only get a single set. Not sure if any other mod is messign with it sicne I don't think I currently have anythign that should mess with that aspect. Other upgrade and single build items function correctly.

Glad to hear you're enjoying! They're currently not setup to be upgradeable, but technically their stats can be adjusted in the configuration file if you desire to scale.

How is this mod supposed to work? I've done the research and I can't see any armour sets to build or whatever in Engineering. I am playing LWOTC and nothing is coming up to build. Am I doing something wrong?

@NightNinja54 These mods are a blast, I've been using them in my collection and they make for a delightful Shadow squad to send on difficult infiltration missions like the prison breakouts. My only sorrow is that they age out rather fast once higher tech tiers are unlocked, and I'd like to keep them around a lot longer. Have you ever considered giving them upgrades that go up to the Powered armor tier - with a buff to stats / utility slots / CI infiltration times with each upgrade? I did some digging and there doesn't seem to be a simple way to do it with mods like PGO custom projects or I'd make it myself.

I found out why, I can only wear armor on skirmisher.
Because of the mod [WOTC] Rusty's Armor Category Tweaks, he changes the armor category to some other one, which is why I can't put it on other soldiers.

I don’t know why, but when I try to equip armor on a fighter, I can’t equip it, it can only be worn on a skirmisher

This sounds pretty similar to Covert Infiltration required mod, Infiltrators disguises. I found this mod (and the collection) in a CI mod collection, so Im guessing it wont conflict or break the game. Just wondering if its significantly different

solved my own issue, just had to dig around and find the individual files for each of them as had stumbled onto the trooper one thinking it was meant for the mod as a whole. just gotta read words correctly on my part. I hope this helps others. to find -> steamlibrary, steamapps, workshop, content, 268500, 2192407850-trooper/2201956611-captain/2206139678-lancer/2212283900-shieldbearer (sorry for not knowing the others but generally should be easy to explore and find), config, "XCOM_Customize_This_Mod", scroll to very bottom and switch: Repeatable="No" to "Yes" (Capitalisation matters for the repeatable!), save it, and that should do the trick for ya.

when changing to allow more than one of each, i only was able to build multiple of the trooper, did i do something wrong on my end or is that the only repeatable armour for the mod? (Officer-StunLancer-ShieldBearer-Trooper installed)

I did the autopsys and the mods works. The only thing is that it looks like you only get one. But think that may be something to do with the game itself and not so much the mod.

Yay I'm subscribed to most of the armors but I had to get far enough to do all of the autopsy. I'll let you know when I do and if the mod works thin. Thanks for getting back on me with this.

Hi guys, not sure if this is on my end or what but every time I get done doing the research I was thinking that I could build the armor. But I have try twice with this mod and the armor dose not show up. Do I need to get it off a dead enemy or some other way?

Question: Does this mod interfere with Advent Armory? I mean the one which adds cosmetic armours for the character poo.

No, consider it a meta-mod that ties the individual packs together. This is done to allow users to pick and choose which armors they’d like to add to their game, while allowing more armors to be added over time.

I am using it with CI and seems to work nicely. i set it in the configs that i can build single armors multiple times if i want

Ah. I think I know what the issue is - are you setting 'repeatable' within the "Reverse Engineering" mod, or within the particular armor itself? You should set the schematic for that particular mod to be repeatable, not the research project from the meta-mod. Let me know if that makes sense. I recognize its a bit inconvenient, but that should do the trick for you,

I set the [Repeatable] value in "XCOM_Customize_This_Mod.ini" to "true," but all that seems to do is allow the *research* to be repeated with no discernable benefit. I'm still stuck with the one set of armor per ADVENT type, it seems...

Is there perhaps a seperate config I'm not seeing to allow the *building* of the items to be repeatable? Or is this some kind of bug?
