@Doctor Octoganapus Please change config option VOXEL_DAMAGE to default FALSE in Config.cs.

There is a bug or some other issue around line 120 in AtmosphereComponent.cs which is triggering log spamming of Line 120 and line 92. Log files per day are several hundred megabytes because of this. This is the same issue that user Beta Mark had in 2021.

I cannot change it, because the change would be simply rewritten by Steam.

@Doctor - Would it be alright for me to use Foliage assets from this planet on some of my own? These will be for a server but the planets themselves will be specifically for the server until they age out after a year or so.

Got it. Nope, not using Water Mod. BTW - I'm sure you've heard this hundreds of times, but your planet is outrageously pretty.

@Siv The water mod version was pretty much rebuilt from scratch for water mod - this original version was not designed for watermod at all and would be a bad experience if used for watermod

@Siv unlisted is fine by me, I do recommend the water mod version of this planet - especially if you are using watermod

Hey Doctor, may I (unlisted) reupload this for my tiny server? I need to change some voxels to mine to Organic rather than Stone for farming compatibility. Trying to overload the planet generator definition sbc in a second mod results in missing textures. Until my planet ore editor mod can handle changing voxel material attributes, I can't yet mod this in software. Thanks for considering it.

Hey! It's really nice looking mod! But there is a huge issue with it. While using Agaris at War, Industrial Overhaul and Water Mod your mod brakes completely. It does not matter in what order in mod list I put mods it still is broken (tried fix it this way for several hours of test loading, re-arraging load order, etc). Here you can see in these screenshots how this breaks:

Iyo seems to be fine, but I did not go looking deeper if it has issues (just flew over with spectator cam in atmo). Any ideas?

@ Doc:
I have a strange issue with Elysium.
a) Ore Boulders tend to disappear / change ore / reappear every time I load the savegame
c) Trees regrow every load.

Is this a SE bug i never realized before or your mod ?

@av.wright Use the new version of this planet which is built for watermod - this one is not meant for watermod at all. The new one also automatically creates its water with all non standard settings pre set: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2573491569

First off, thank you for this awesome planet. People on my server love it, but my server is having a hard time with it. The only error I'm seeing in my logs is a this:

04:21:08.1693 [ERROR] Keen: Mod Elysium is accessing physics from parallel threads. This is not safe and might cause the game to crash or behave unexpectedly.

I'm also getting an unreasonable number of NOT FOUND lines in my logs. Out of 1M log lines in my Keen-20201-07-16.log, about 980k lines are just this message.
00:00:01.3807 [DEBUG] Keen: 76 NOT FOUND

Looks like those are coming from line 120 of AtmosphereComponents.cs where it is checking if someone has a grid on a voxelID that can do damage, but it is failing to find an item

Server is randomly crashing with literally nothing written to the logs at the moment of the crash, so I figured I'd post here with the only error I do see.

Is there a version of Elysium without the scripts for the atmo and voxel damage generators?

Hey Doctor; long-time fan of your planets, as are a lot of people. :) I've been putting together a scenario over the last year, mostly getting things organized and theorycrafted before I start building all the grids and final elements... I'd like to showcase a lot of the modding community's exciting work. I'm putting together a combination mod that adds More Stone Types (Deep Ores) and Shale Oil & Diesel to a variety of custom planets. Is it okay to add some of your planets to this list? Proper credits and links will definitely be given.

very cool planet, but none of the bioluminescence is working for me, and I'm pretty sure that's because of Space Just Got Real, but I'm not sure. Didn't actually test.

I am unsure how to add the foliage and cloud layer properly so they show up but both textures are made and complete, how would i properly add them, i did what was in the video and added the textures in the places they would be in vanilla but in the mod files.

Update: I have found the problem. When I have the planet Safina in my mods, along with a number of planets made by you, those planets turn white.
I think Safina's textures (or something) are conflicting with your stuff.

Heya Doctor, modding question for you.

I'm trying to make some custom clouds, but I can't for the life of me get them to show in-game. Even if I use the default textures, as soon as I move them to my mod folder, they disappear. Tried using you sbc file, and file structures as an example, but still can't find where I'm going wrong.

Sorry for throwing this in your mod comments, I couldn't find any way to pm you, but I would appreciate any help.

This overwrites the texture for the unji gas giant mod apperently, makes it have a moon texture instead of plain blue

@Sentient_Worm Better Stones would have to make a compatiblity patch, SPRT Stuff on Vanilla Planets are manually placed by the Devs, so those Don't exist.
