yes this is right. i looked for a long time to find where the tax exemption modifiers were and could not find it. I really wish I could have figured it out but was sadly unsucessful. thank you for the positive feedback.

Thank you for the mod. I was rather irritated when I saw that vanilla did not add a growth modifier with lower taxes. I think you did a good job implementing it in a fair way that is similar to the previous TW titles.

I think I found a bug with tax exemption; it doesn't seem to apply the growth modifier. So, if I want a growth modifier it is better to keep taxes at minimum instead of exempting them.

good to hear sir, carry on. anyone know if there is a mod for Shogun 2 that makes most infantry, like all but kisho ninjas, not be able to climb walls?
MANWHATADONGA 9 Mar, 2016 @ 1:42pm
Septus.Working fine for me and i have 40 mods on.
Numenor 9 Mar, 2016 @ 11:48am
Yeah I figured that was the case. Just wanted to tell you for future reference.

I personally know how to mod Rome 2 so it isn't a problem for me since I can easily change the values back to vanilla.
Septus  [author] 9 Mar, 2016 @ 9:37am
I never messed with that, but if vanilla was changed in some patch after I made the mod, then it would be changed as that info is in the same file that I changed.
Numenor 9 Mar, 2016 @ 6:43am
I noticed that this mod changes public unhappiness levels from vanilla level.

For instance the second lowest went from -3 to -4, middle tax level went from -5 to -7, second highest tax went from -12 to -11, highest tax level went from -20 to -15?

are you still updating this mod Septus?
Septus  [author] 10 Aug, 2014 @ 12:53pm
as far as I know, it works with all versions. You may have to click "enable out of date mods" though, in launcher. Devs haven't changed file I edit in long time so shouldn't be a prob.

Lower taxes leading to settlement growth is logic, it doesent only mean the pleb has more money left for ter family but also that people are migrating to settlements with lower taxes
Hoonmaster 13 Feb, 2014 @ 11:49pm
@Stanleyboy I think you might be stupid if you think that's how the economy works. Your point about developers choosing to do this becuase its unrealistic is also moot since they did it in Empire Total War. In ETW, when you lowered tax, you got more wealth ie. Growth.
Akrotiri 10 Feb, 2014 @ 11:19am
maybe its some of my unit mods then causing my game not too load
Septus  [author] 10 Feb, 2014 @ 11:04am
should be working with latest patch. though many other mods aren't yet, so your game may still not launch. let me if you have any problems.
Akrotiri 10 Feb, 2014 @ 10:06am
please update this to be compatible with todays epirus patch
Sheph 2 Feb, 2014 @ 8:41am
Pfrantz: just modify his mod's pack file.
Septus: Can you create a mod that gives considerable growth bonuses to provinces that are not taxed?
pfrantz 2 Feb, 2014 @ 1:27am
Nice mod, good job dude. Perhaps, I have a little request : could you create a mod where putting low taxes increases considerably the public order because I had a campaign in wich all my cities had the best equestrian buildings with the Seleucids ( to create éléphants of course), and each building reduced the public order of ten, plus all the other buildings, I had some comunities in wich pubic order whas -200, though they had nearly no taxes.
