After playing a full game with Keine, struggling awfully despite playing at Prince difficulty, versus other known 2hus (some being overly broken), and knowing more or less what the base game civs strengths are... Keine sucks. Everything given to her (passives, buildings, units) is very weak and lacks a clear and sturdy development line.
A free worker after building a Watermill is completely useless: you'd need it from the get-go. The Wind Mill should provide +1 extra Food, +1 extra Prod to every farm near a river. The Village Shop's improvement barely improves anything: you'd need to ramp the Market's bonus from +25% to +50% as well as providing +2 gold per bonus resource. The Youkai Hunter: their mobility and sight is nice, but their otherwise identical power to the Crossbowman make them actually barely any stronger. They'd also need a fat resistance against melee (youkai) units, such as 50%.

Well, if you're not going to do it, I might try to do it myself one day I guess.

I have the mod subscribed, loaded, yet I am unable to choose them as a faction. No DLCs.

I do see people's comments, I just tend to be bad at replying to them. :P

As for Zuihou, I should've expected her to be recognized, given how popular Kancolle is. When I was working on the icon, though, I was having a very difficult time trying to find art for an archer in somewhat historical clothes (but not samurai armor), so I ended up going with a picture of Zuihou as it ultimately was the best I could find. Ah well~ :P

I love how those Youkai Hunters' portrait is actually Zuihou from Kantai Collection, you did it on purpose, didn't you? :)

Other than that, nice mod, it is one good addition to my mod civs, hehe.

@Bushido_Bob: I do plan to go through all of my mods and update them to add support for other mods. I'm not sure about YNAEMP (I've never used it, and am not sure what start locations I'd choose for my civs), but I've already started updating some of my other civs for E&D, Unique Cultural Influence, and so on. Thanks to DarkScythe finding out some interesting bits of code, I'm hoping I can give the Human Village some neat Decisions in the future!

Regarding the comment on no rivers. The City should still work, without the river. Like many games where I've had only one luxury on an island, The city should have a way to over come that lack without breaking it. What I'm saying is it should just mean it will be a harder game with that handicap and should not require going back to the granaries. And for those that have to have that building, they simply have to try another map.

I'll keep looking for problems but I must note that the Village Shop tends to make Keine into an economic powerhouse. I think that major boost to economy might outweigh a possible problem on the rivers. Although the test game I'm in has three river cities and I took a policy path which got me a free worker. It's odd that it took a long time to get faith but I attribute it to me rushing for water wheels and having a lack of ruins giving faith or faith based city-states.

@MS-06S: The tourism screen issue occurs because I haven't made an alpha version of the civ's icon, I believe. I'm not really sure how to do that... I'll have to ask Huitzil about it, because I know he made them for his civs.

Thanks for letting me know about the spy names bug... I had 8 spy names listed for the civilization, but had only made entries for 7 of them, so I added one more name.

It also looks like she got the odd thing where on the tourism screen she's got the Americans icon again. Not sure if that's a bug or not.

I'll be running a random Continents run now to see how many rivers I can find to settle on (even if I lose port cities) I'll give a result. Although I wish there was a nice way to do one screenshot of the entire world to show how many rivers there were.

@MS-06S: I'm mostly curious to see if people can build cities on rivers often enough in random games for the UA to work. If not, I'll probably set it back to Granaries as the requisite building. I know with my Fractal maps there's been a few games with a lack of rivers...

As for the "Lord" title, there are tags you can use to flag a leader as female... I just haven't used them before so I'll need to track them down. X3

Possible oddity: When she recives the title for Tradition it lists her as 'Lord' not sure if it's not picking up on gender being female and it supposed to be 'Lady' as I've seen some female leader's having that title.

In a part I noticed it on a custom map where there weren't may rivers (if any) and her affinity start didn't have her near a river so it was a bit of a worry. Still I'll try it out on more random generated maps to see how often it comes into play being a problem. Although should I be testing her viabilty against the 'stock' leaders or should I have the other Touhou Civs involved that are made for BNW involved?

@MS06S: I'd probably expand Suika eventually, but she current has more diplomatic text than Keine does, so Keine would likely be first in line for updates.

As for the trait, originally I'd tied the Worker to Granaries, but there were some concerns it made the Worker a bit too easy to get. I'm hoping to get some more feedback to see if the Watermill is a bit too limited.

Just checking on things also would Suika also get a text update too since I noticed a lot of her expanded text was from Cirno (but I think commented out too)

I'll have to check things for a while using her but I worry about her perk on maps where there aren't many rivers leaving her impotent without the free workers.

@hugpolo: I haven't had any problems with saved games myself (or the people who I had help test it)... do you have any details on what might've caused the error?

@MS-06S: While the file is copied from Suika, those parts of the code have been commented out so they shouldn't cause any errors. I'm hoping to get the text more updated in the future when I get the chance.

Will be testing this one soon although looking at the HVDiplomacy.xml is there any possible interference as a number of headers use <Row LeaderType="LEADER_SUIKA"> and that it might cause problems with the script (also the XML file won't open in my usual XML viewer so had to look at it in plaintext)

hi Touhou I tried a single-player BNW game with all of yoru civs, and the game played fine but wouldn't load up again after I saved and reloaded the game. You might want to fix this.
