I could "delete" the blood bag with stocking 2 normal blood bags B+ into my doc, after that I could give the command for picking it up and it got picked up but didnt show off in the inventory.

Somehow I managed to pick it up without the B+ but then it showed up in the inventory and if I dropped it back on the floor it could cause the same errors again. (Another error log was showing up after that)


First I thought it was smart medizine but it was before I gave the command to stock blood bags in the inventory of my doctor.

I got a bug that transformed a blood bag with O+ into O-
I dont know how exactly it happened but I know it was O- after the carawan started. I think it happened after I lost one of my horse with the blood bag and I forced one of the caravan members to put it back into the caravan.

After that my caravan fought and was on the way back. Because some raiders tried to burn my fields, I needed them after they arrived so I stopped them from unloading the caravan to fight the fire. In this chaos one of them dropped the magic O- blood bag. After that Sometimes my people got the bug of standing still because they somehow cant do what they want with that line in the log "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" (Got some errors for animals too). I also got an error if I command someone with right click on the O- blood bag but I got no options. At the moment I denied futher use of the magic blood bag, everthing was going back to normal.

It would be amazing if you could make blood have different tastes! Either based on genes or just randomized. I'd love my vampires to have preferences and mood bonuses based on taste.

any chance of adding the ability to add specific ones via devmode? (it's cool if not. just figured it might be made easier xD there's only a 12.5% chance that it might re-roll to be the one we want each time it's re-rolled)

@Fuyuno Not reliably, you can remove the blood-type hediff and let it regenerate it. Its random so you will get the one you want eventually

is this a mod that i can remove in the middle of my game, i am using the compacted hedif mod and the ESCP - Necromantic Thralls mod and it causes some overlay bugs. it doesn't effect game play at all i just want it to look a little nicer

Not sure if you didn't notice my comment, but administer the wrong blood type doesn't do anything besides give food poisoning, and i'm not sure if it's intended or a glitch on my end or what.

Because my androids from the Android Tiers mod now have blood types and that isn't making much sense lmao

Idk if it's a glitch or something, but nothing happens when you administer a blood type that is incompatible with the recipient

Can it be used as a weapon? ex. Give someone an incompatible blood type so pawn will suffer debuffs and maybe death?.

Oh yeah, I forgot to ask for a prisioner policy like "Hemogen farm" where instead of constant hemogen pack extraction it is blood bags.

Could you give +20 hemogen for the blood bags if Biotech is on? And if possible add then to the drug policy so I can make vampires drink from then in a schedule.

Would be awesome if you could substitute hemogen packs for blood bags altogether, but from what I heard in Hemofungus Mod that would be really bloody (hah) hard to do. Anyways, thanks for your hard work, Mlie!

also adding to my last comment, sure a bag of blood may be worth that price IRL, but in rimworld that makes it so a bag of blood is worth around the same as an ORGAN.

Make it 8$, or something like that, or its just too easy to make so much money

Hello. Would you mind adding the <isBad>false</isBad> tag to the BloodType HediffDef? I think that would prevent the MedPod mod from changing a pawns bloodtype whenever they use it.

I don't care about those errors as long as they won't ruin my normal gameplay,and i've successfully fixed that problem through deleting any hediffs with "bloodtype". it works.

does this work with HAR? Ive realised that the blood type hediff doesnt actually have a HediffGiverSet which means it gets added in code right? SO its probably not possible to remove this hediff from specific races?
