@Viper2841 oof, for me it's the opposite and experimental mode runs better than the regular version

@morally_gray162 thanks, I've been working on a updated version with some of the new parts, but the experimental branch has been unstable lately so I haven't uploaded it yet.

Ohh, if you are having a hard time thinking of something to make, try your hand at a space station. It's pretty cool having a place to dock your ships while you work on other stuff. You could even make a dry dock to build them in. I think I should look into that myself.

ya, I used an item stand for a "holo map" in my space station and I made a small version of the space station with a gun handle. Its pretty cool. But How do you make them save into the build. When I spawned yours the repair icon was in the item stand, but when I spawn my own they are no in there.

@Servo Yeah I found that out relatively late into the build, I'm thinking of using item stands and the base tools to make holo-signs for all kinds of things, you can even make a "gun" that is literally just a sign for more custom ones if you have the time to spend. The default tools can be used for some basic good looking symbols, I'd use the connection tool for teleport rooms, Wrench for engineering rooms, etc. I think the next build I do will be either a large landing platform / hanger or a smaller ship like a fighter or bomber.

IMO start thematically. Think of a character type in the sci-fi space world. So like a smuggler (what I am working on now), pirates, cargo pilots (truck drivers), military etc and just build to that.
The easiest way to get started on a project is to give yourself barriers or rules. It starts to whittle down the process. If you say I want a smuggler ship, then you know to start with that in mind vs like a military ship or something. That is how I do it at least.

If you dont mind, I am gonna steal the wrench in the item stand that you did. That is amazing, I mean pure genius. Its functional and aesthetic. Its how things should be. Love it!

Thanks @Servo now I'm just stuck thinking of what to build next. All the logic on this build was pretty simple, but I was happy with how it turned out. The original was much more complicated with these weird landing gear that also functioned as boarding ramps, but I had to scrap that because it was too buggy and I didn't have enough room to work with.

This is a really cool ship. I love how you made your cargo bay doors and lifts. The flow of the ship is nice and has some really cool details use of greeble. The stats are nice and she has crazy maneuverability. Well done!

I have an updated version in the works that has more detail and a couple more fun features, it should be up in a few days. I also have another few ships and speeder craft I'll try to release soon. Feel free to add any suggestions in the comments!
