This is very cool. Interesting historical note: - The neighborhood of Rockridge got its start as a in Oakland got its start as a Rock Quarry .. Remnants of this can still be seen at "The Ridge" Shopping Center right next to the Claremont Country club..

@wabbiyhunta it is large sized actually, so it works better with super complex networks in the endgame. If you want a mega map of Northern California check out my Sonoma County map.

 Nice map.
What size/scale is it? Mega/Huge 1-1?
[I'm not at home for a week or two so I'm unable to download it to see for myself]

UPDATED! Only 4 mods needed now. I will put together my suggested mods in a collection later. It took about a year, but most mods are now made that will allow a pretty historical build out of the Bay Area, even a real Golden Gate Bridge from Urban Games.

@Sedge thanks for the additional infos :p I subscribed in order to help motivating you go further :D Always wanted to play TPF with the Bay Area... I will probably wait a bit to see if you can get rid of some mods before to launch it though :p

@Toarzo I added a few images, it has about 50 cities, most of which should probably be kept small with various mods. The last image is a snapshot. It should be worth the mods. Once I get an idea of my release cycle I will update. More interest=more work on my part. 42 subscribers in the first day ain't bad.

Thanks for the early feedback! This is basically a beta at this point.

Anyone know a way of mass removing mods? I laid out a few no AI building streets from Marcs street pack, but I could probably get rid of most of them without problems.

What this map really needs is the old Train Fever interurban mod for Sac Northern/Key system/P&SR, and a cable car model. I noticed there is no campaigns yet for TPF2 on the workshop, but I would eventually love to make one building out the historical rail system.

Hello, could you please give us more details ? (more pics, how many cities, size of the map etc...) ? :D it looks great on the paper, but as said before I don't want to download all these mods without more infos about the map :p

Totally agree with [RIP] SpecialistZerO ;)

@Sedge I play all my games in Free Play mode so it isn't a problem for me, it was just a suggestion to make your maps more appealing. I've not played the map yet but I will feed back anything of note. Please don't take my first post as a criticism, more a suggestion. Most maps that I obtain from Steam get edited before I play them as standard, some get a complete overhaul and I end up deleting everything and just use the heightmap. Best Regards SZ.

Yep, I was a bit lazy about removing more mods, but I needed them when I played out the map. I will finish tagging the required items for now, and I will remove mods in version 2. For industry, I suggest using Freestyle as most stock industry is way too big for the map footprint. Any other feedback would be welcome!

I'm sure that there is plenty of interest and I commend your work, but many people won't subscribe due to the mods required to play the map. I would suggest removing them in map editor and re-publishing. I like that you have not placed industry though, I don't download maps with industry very often as I like to place my own.
