thankyou for your feedback.
& the thumbs up :)
I have added your map to my list.
I agree with you about the signage.
but unfortunatly I had to remove antlines, due to the item limit.
to be able to build / publish.
this is why I mention some connections in the description
& have light strips to guide the player on the 1st & 2nd parts of the puzzle.
it would be a good portal update, if they gave us more variety of sinage,
to avoid duplication.
also with pc's being more powerfull, increasing the item limit.
I can hope ?
don't know if you read the description & the 1st & 2nd comments, for more info ?
the basic editor has a lot more to offer, than most people realise.
only a couple of days ago, while experimenting with a map I'm working on.
I found a way to touch a laser field & survive.

Wow Mood3rd! This is a very ambitious idea for the PeTi editor. This is a really nice puzzle, with some of your trademark adventure elements built in. It is let down a bit by signage issues, working out which buttons/lasercatchers did what took some time. But the 'aha' moment when I realised I had to portal through time made it all worthwhile. thumbs up:)

thankyou.
I have added it to my list.
it sounds fantastic, interesting, amazing :)

I just subscribed to your sequel.

Hey mood, thanks for playing my maps. You're a good testor. You look at everything and then leave great suggestions. You recently played Set and Reset. I looked over the map with your suggestions in mind and after making a few changes I discovered I had an entirely new map. I'm deleting the old one and putting Set and Reset 2 up. Try it for me when you get a chance please. I need your insight. I'm still going to do a video of this one just haven't had the time yet. Thank you mood.

thank you very much for your very positive comments.
I have added your 3 latest maps to my list.
you seem to produce them faster & faster.
have you got a map assembly line :)
did you read the 1st & 2nd comment, I put on page one.
they explain how this map came about :)
I hope you stopped dave.
as for you putting a video on you tube:
if you do, I will be happy to see your gameplay.
as it's always enlightening watching people play are maps.
as for lenth you tube allows:
at 1st they allow 10 min's.
but later they raise it, if no bad content published.
you could go for it & see what happens, if you have the time. (which is the hard part)
I put some connections in the description, for clarity, as it would not build with antlines.
also some signage is duplicated.
stormsend 9 Feb, 2014 @ 4:03am
You have a great imagination. This puzzle was excellent. I found it rather difficult even with all the clues you gave. It's all there in front of you, but it was hard to get my head around the identical chambers and how they affected each other. My two hardest points were getting to the blue room and to the exit after seeing it open. The one clue that helped the most was knowing the connections that you put in the description. I would make a video but I don't think youtube publishes them that long and you would run out of patience watching my antics. Many thanks for the entertainment and enjoyment. (New one up at my house.)

thankyou again.
shame the save does not save the progress properly.
I know light bridges covered in gel, will be clean, after a quickload.
but a cube on a button, having no effect, is news to me ?
maybe portal will fix, in an update ?
especialy as testing in the editor, does not show these problems.
& by the time you publish, you don't tend to need saves.
though I do sometimes use them to test a later part of a puzzle, with a hidden published map.
daloboy 6 Feb, 2014 @ 3:43pm
I did read the comments, after some time solving. Nice addittion!
By the way, on the glitch/cube/reload effect: your cube stop the flip panels, and I was in the other room when I reload, so I had to re-do the first stunt to regen the cubes and re-initiate the normal effect of the flip panels. But I must admit loving those kind of problems, it test how much is actually your understanding of the map design. Great fun!
mood3rd  [author] 6 Feb, 2014 @ 3:20pm
daloboy
thankyou very much for that :)
glad you liked it.
I wanted to have a dark time corridor, with just the funels.
but the player would not see the high flip panels.
so settled for this :(
shame.
could still have done it, if I made it very long.
but considering the times the player has to go back & fouth.
they would get anoyed :(
their is an engine room I put as far as possible away from the 2 chambers
& I put a structure in between.
to cut down on the noise.
no signage in there. as it would confuse the player.
they make the laser field, light bridges etc, go on & off.
& partialy control the time corridor.
did you read the 1st 2 comments, as they add a little storyline to this map ?
daloboy 6 Feb, 2014 @ 5:02am
I really like to search for the links between the elements and finaly see some kind of sequence, then the right way to solve it. The temporal wormhole effect was great! Loved that there's only 2 almost identical rooms (except for the passage of time) and that they are linked together. Another great map from mood3rd, as ususal!
mood3rd  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 6:16pm
daloboy
thankyou for the video's
success :)
I right clicked your video links & selected copy link address.
then left steam / portal & copied it into my internet explorer browser.
it worked fine.
perhaps it was a problem with steam ?
when you used the flip panels to transport the cube.
if you stand on the cube & crouch, you & the cube go through the portals a little quicker.
with the gel room, their are 2 light bridges.
I found using both easier.
but your way worked.
mostly as I do it :)
I did see the glitch after you mentioned it, in futher testing.
but I am to close to the items limit to solve it.
& I have cut down a lot of items already, (more than I wanted to)
to enable it to build / publish.
what do you think of it ?
I know this sort of map someone did with either hamer or a mod ?
but I wanted to try & push the basic edtor & see if it could be done.
daloboy 5 Feb, 2014 @ 5:47pm
That probably explain the entrance door going side ways when we get in the first door, and the exit to oblivion! I tried my links and they work, so yes probably re-try later!
mood3rd  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 5:43pm

republished after altering connections.
mood3rd  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 5:33pm
daloboy
when clicking on your links.
a message appears, saying my browser does not recognise any of the formats ?
strange ?
I have been having problems with my internet.
so maybe it will work later ?
I have added the glitch solution to the description.
had to delete some of it to do that.
I lost the plot, & tried testing the glitch in the editor.
what, no quicksaves :(
so I tested it in the published version.
exit had no lift. oops.
I have swaped them around, so it should now have a lift.
forgot to alter connections.
will alter & republish, as soon as I finish typing this.
thankyou.
daloboy 5 Feb, 2014 @ 4:41pm
Here is my solution . Yes, when I lift the cube and put it back, the effect is re-initiated. Here's that special moment .
mood3rd  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 4:10pm
daloboy
strange.
did you try lifting & replacing the cube & did it solve the problem ?
looking forward to your video.
to see if you solved it the intended way.
& if you stopped dave :)
mood3rd  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 4:05pm

your so close.
hint:
temperal thinking

I will be happy to help further.
if you need it ?
daloboy 5 Feb, 2014 @ 10:52am
By the way: found a problem with the quicksave when the cube is on the button beside the exit, if I re-load, the cube is still there but its effect as stop! I will point it in the video.
stormsend 5 Feb, 2014 @ 10:35am
thanx friend. I actually saw the exit door open but still trying to figure out how to get up there.
mood3rd  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 7:51am
daloboy
well done :)
you excel in temperal machanics :)
don't know how you sent this message from the future.
unless you used the time machine, that dave used ?
who is dave ?
see the 1st 2 comments for more information.
hope you completed the main mission, to stop dave before he causes a parodox.
& causing this map to cease to exist ?
mood3rd  [author] 5 Feb, 2014 @ 7:39am
stormsend
well done on getting both cubes.
your nearly there.
checkout the description for 3 connections to the exit in the 1st room (the present).
their are no connections to the exit in the future.
but...

remember the cube button by the exit stops the flip panels changing to non-portable.
but at the right time, you will need that cube somewhere else.

have fun :)
daloboy 4 Feb, 2014 @ 5:59pm
Hurray! Did it twice! Now going back for a little video...
stormsend 4 Feb, 2014 @ 3:44pm
I'm in there but struggling. I might eventually get it. I finally got both cubes. I spent some time in the blue room. Man was that an experience. I'm not giving up yet. I'm just taking a break.
mood3rd  [author] 4 Feb, 2014 @ 3:27am
update:
reset timer on time corridor initiator, pedestal buttons, back to 10 seconds.
mood3rd  [author] 4 Feb, 2014 @ 3:12am
daloboy
thanks :)
hint:
the cieling button is connected to the cube dropper & exit.
daloboy 3 Feb, 2014 @ 3:54pm
Yes, just having fun-el at your expense! I managed to hit the cieling button in the first/present room...but nothing else. For now, I taking a brain break, but will be back for more soon.
mood3rd  [author] 3 Feb, 2014 @ 3:40pm
daloboy
if I understand correctly, you could not get trapped in this map,
unless you do it deliberatly ?
& you were having fun'el, at my expense :)
if that is the case, please let me know & I will reset the timer & re-publish.
have you completed it yet ?
if not, what is your progress ?
daloboy 3 Feb, 2014 @ 3:04pm
In fact, I was torturing you a little...I got stuck on porpuse, remenbering the left then right then left then right of you other map!
mood3rd  [author] 3 Feb, 2014 @ 2:35pm
daloboy
sorry about that.
I tested that issue, & extended the timers before publishing.
I then actualy tried to trap myself & thought I had fixed it.
now I have extended the timers another second & republished again.
if you have any more problems, please let me know.
daloboy 3 Feb, 2014 @ 1:59pm
I think I'm stuck !

2 of 2
1 hour later, they were both seen ranting & heading back to the meeting armed.
each swearing they would kill the other.
so depending on the outcome.
I hope you can finish this map, before it didn't get built in the 1st place.
though, if dave kills cave, dave will not have been born, so could not kill cave.
I suspect these temperal paradox's are responsible for the alternate timelines.
which explains the many alternate earths you have been testing in.
so my money is on dave.
also keep in mind, that if cave kills dave:
dave still has not been born yet.
so could come back & kill cave. (kill him back)
as all the information will be in dave's history books.
not to mention dave's future day family & friends, who may want to avenge his death.
that is all on this subject, for now.
as I just ran out of time :)
mood3rd  [author] 2 Feb, 2014 @ 1:15pm

background info of how this map came about:
cave was going about his buissiness.
when an old man came up to him, saying he was his great, great, great...grandson, dave.
at 1st cave was skeptical. but dave told him about how he would have his conciousness uploaded to a computer, that would run this facility after his body was long gone.
cave, having only though of doing this, a few seconds earlier, was interested.
so they talked for a while & came up with the idea of doing a joint project.
which is how this map came into being.
now the bad news:
as in the future, they were runing short of resources
& half the items they had, were malfunctioning.
dave had started removing items from his time, to use in other chambers.
cave called a meeting & they had a heated argument.
