I decided to fix the bug myself and also include Wall Connectors in the grid.

For anyone interested, here is the link to Building Placement snaps to Grid .

For anyone who wants to fix the problem that Mirror Towers are no longer able to shoot correctly when this mod is enabled:

- Go in the mod folder of this mod.
- Open the file proto2.8.xml in a text editor (beware it's a large file).
- Go to line 43.484 and delete its content: <flag>Immoveable</flag>
- Then save the file. That's it.

In case you have a text editor without line numbering:
- Search (ctrl+f) for <unit id="724" name="Tower Mirror">
- Scroll down a little bit to stay within the same group (everything tab-indented twice after your search result)
- Tthere comes a lot of <unittype>...</unittype> stuff and afterwards the <flag>...</flag> stuff. There you can find the <flag>Immoveable</flag> line that you have to delete.

Your manual changes stay active for this mod until the mod creator decides to publish a new version, in which case he might fix it for you one day... ;)

Is there is way to turn this on for walls?

@JR, I think that the mods that are modding the same file are not compatible with each other, that is why we have the Priority system.

Is this compatible with the mod that removes building limits (Defnitive No Limits I think it's called)

Omg finally... for year's I've been trying to always build an exact base and now... it's beautiful.
100% one of my favorite mods

@RAS DOIMO I tested myself that before publishing the mod and I didn't found anything unusual in the IA, anyways in the normal gameplay it looks like the IA always placed their buildings in a grid. If you find any bug or issue let me know though.

Does this affect how the AI plays? like if their bases would have a better pathfinding

Yes @nate_e! That was exactly what I did! I discovered that this effect is only possible when a building have the "Resource" unittype and the flag "Immoveable" for some reason. It only works when both tags are listed in their entry. So yeah, now the buildings are resources technically, if there is any bug or issue I would like to know.

This is awesome! I always liked the grid from AoK. Did you just add "Resource" unittype to all the buildings?
