Huge thank you for fixing the drone, our group mainly uses this submarine.

Aruguably one of the best submarines ever in Barotrauma, the Stealth Drive is OP. We avoided Molochs passing by at 30 meters.

Hello, the drone seems to be only moving up and down only, instead of left and right after the update. Not sure what's causing it

Hello! Thank you for the consideration! I took a look in the editor and it seems like everything is working as expected after the update! There did seem to be an issue with stealth mode not running the engine silent at full speed so I fixed that. I'm really glad you have been enjoying all the subs! Hey love your subs, noticed that a new spring update is coming out soon 'Blood in the Water' for barotrauma. Literally all love and zero pressure but when the update drops it'd be cool if we could test these subs to see if they need updates (I'll test and let you know what happens). Ahhh fair enough, I don't run too many mods when I play so it's possible something like that could cause a conflict or change the way tiers are assigned.

I just remember seeing it marked as Tier I with a bunch of other Tier 1 subs

@Pavel4win Thank you for the heads up, I took a look in the editor and realised the duct in question was not in the right position. I've fixed that so it shouldn't be an issue anymore (also sorry for this VERY late reply)

@SpenceZILLA I took a look at the sub and it is correctly saved as a tier 2 sub, I don't seem to encounter it in the early areas of the game. Is it possible a local version was saved that changed the tier?

Hey, real sorry to comment here after a year. Not much of an issue, but it looks like the palestar II S is classified by the game as a tier 1 sub, so you can get it really early on.

UPDATED: When I was repairing the hull after the raptor attack, I accidentally welded a drain valve near the door to the engine compartment. It leaked from there. It's strange, but true. When I opened the valve with a crowbar, the flow immediately stopped.

I'm running a company in a multiplayer game.
I loaded your submarine C.S.S. Palestar II S
The submarine is very nice.
But I found serious bug.
A hole in the hull that can’t be repaired.
It happened like this. The Mudraptors broke my sub. I kill'em all.
Now I can’t repair the hole in the battery compartment.
I fixed all the walls, but the leak continues.

Leak under the door from engine compartment to battery compartment. Where is the step on which the pump stands.
I walked over walls five times with a welding tool.
I checked all: pumps, doors, drain valves. All in order, but the leak continues.
I docked at the shipyard. I ordered repair of all walls from the chief mechanic for money.
The leaks in the walls must be definitely eliminated.
But submarine is still leaking in the same place.
I ordered the repair of all items. This didn't help either.
If you still support your sub, please find and fix the problem.

Thank for letting me know! It looks like that pump had not been set to invulnerable to damage. This has been fixed and you won't have to repair it any more.

Is it possible to edit the Gamma Drone? somewhere in the upper right area there is a pump that gets broken and eventually all the bots get stuck trying to repair it, and I can't seem to get to it/locate it to fix it manually either

I totally understand, when there's mudraptors at the door, a breach in several rooms the last thing you need is the mechanic who should be fixing the engine doing squats! Hopefully it should be the end of crisis workout hour :p Happy sailing!

Wow nice. Yeah, it wasn't so much of needing to manually fix stuff in the drone as the AI refusing to do ANYTHING other than crouch spam in the corner because they couldn't do it and for some reason prioritize it over the main sub's problems. I look forward to seeing if this does the trick. Thank you for the rapid response and solution!

Drone hatch now closes automatically when it begins to flood, there is an override button below the hatch that will let you open it if the drone is full of water.

I also moved some waypoints around, while in the editor the AI was able to go into the drone and repair systems! So hopefully that should resolve both issues!

Thanks for feedback Santas Helper! In terms of the AI pathing, I'm not too sure I can fix this, as I've tried a couple times to try and get them to be able to fix the drone's components. I'm pretty sure either the awkward sizing of the drone, or the fact that it is up a ladder is what gives the AI problems trying to find their way. I'll see what I can do to avoid forcing equipment fixes in the drone to land on the shoulders of human players, but I'm not 100% sure I can solve this one.

As for the hatch, I had set up the two doors on either side to control the flooding during an emergency but if it's still proving a problem I'll add logic to lock the drone's hatch when flooding begins and allow that lock to be overridden with a button when the situation is more under control.

Loving this sub, except for one constant problem. The AI cannot figure out how to repair things on the drone when it is attached, so they will get stuck in a loop whenever the drone takes damage. Also the main sub will flood because the hatch to the drone is always open when it is docked and cannot be shut, even if there is a breach in the drone's hull. I've tried to wire the custom hatch to close when flooded, but can't get it to function how I need it. If I undock the drone everything goes back to normal. Basically the drone is becoming more of a hassle to lug around and repair than to just leave behind as soon as it takes damage. For some reason AI prioritizes fixing it over anything else, but they just stand in the break room adjacent to medbay and spam the kneel animation like they are exercising during a crisis. I feel like this could be a fairly easy fix with a rework on the hatch mechanism, and possibly pathing tweaks for the AI.
