Glad to see this is still improving people's games when I've mostly moved on from Left 4 Dead 2. I personally don't think it will ever be included since 1. Official Mod support is not a requirement of developers. And 2. having all these melee weapons spawn mean the ones intended for that campaign may spawn less often, especially if there aren't as many melee spawn points. I just preferred having them all, so I put this together. The female boomers exclusion though, honestly no idea. That should be vanilla.

Hope this gets included in an update one day, there's still so many bug fixes addons out there idk why they won't include them either.

@邱诚同学 It makes sure weapons are deleted from players inventory on map transition for servers that have campaign rotation plugins. Having it disabled means survivors may end up keeping their weapons and items from the previous campaign when they spawn on the next.

@Hex Reapers the point was to allow everyone access to everything. There isn't any real balance between melee weapons because they all do the same damage. Their only differences are angles and trace count. Certain weapons by default only spawn in certain campaigns, meaning you are forced to play that campaign to use those weapons even if you don't like that campaign. Now you can enjoy everything in every campaign, melee weapons are properly random like real life as you could find just about anything anywhere, and you can do the acheivements that require specific melee weapons while playing any campaign now.

No idea why that'd be the case, this sounds like a pretty great mod. The only thing I personally find questionable is making every melee available in every campaign. Perhaps I'm missing something, but it seems like each campaign has a custom selection of melees for thematic and or balance reasons.

No but it should"t be hard to make as all you have to do is change no female boomers from 0 to 1. This is the only version I myself will be supporting though, since this is the way I believe the game was always meant to be. Anyone who wants to use these fixes are free to use them but I'd appreciate just simply crediting me.

@Mei Mei add ;riotshield after the fona in the melee list.

Also thank you for reporting that, it appears I did not update campaign 6 when I thought I did. Give me about 3 minutes and i'll have it updated. They don't cause any issues by being on, that was just a mistake on my part.

I have a question, i wanted to modify the addon to include the riot shield (is for my own use) and i saw that in campaign 6 no female boomers in on 1 and allow cola is on 0, is that because it crashes if you enable them?

@Werewolf Vincent I use Ion's vocalizer and it's been working just fine for me. Some voice lines got changed / removed so be aware of that when it seems like some features don't work. There's also new talker scripts which have restrictions on the campaign / chapter you can use certain lines on. This isn't new, it's always existed, but it may or may not be different now.

@knightheartless25. I don't understand what you mean. This already unlocks all the melee weapons in all campaigns, including the pitchfork, knife and shovel. The only weapon it doesn't add by default is the riot shield.

@TheLFactor7890 Because the riot shield causes more issues than it's worth to add in. You also need multiple extra mods just to fix it enough to a usable state. If you really want the riot shield just decompile this addon and add ;riotshield after tonfa in the melee list to all 14 campaigns.

Was looking for a mod like this cuz Valve decided to do the good ol' Golf Club technique.
(When The Sacrifice DLC came out, the Golf Club was a new melee weapon that only spawned in that campaign but was later added into all L4D2 campaigns. Wonder if they would do the same with the shovel and pitchfork?)

I'll reupload the vpk, might of been a bug since everything is working on my end. This only contains the 14 campaign mission files which I edited with the fixes. Shouldn't conflict with anything but melee weapon unlockers.

The file packing through vpks might have changed or something with this update, but when I unpacked the vpk just to see what was in it and how it affects compatibility with my mod loadout, it was empty?

It's not going to conflict because your menu mod will overwrite the vanilla files and take priority. Disable anything that edits the main menu like this

Are you using something that modifies the main menu? All custom main menu layouts no longer work and can result in issues such as maps and game modes not being correctly displayed. Old menu's don't have the data for the 14th campaign in their menu.

@Freddy The Flamingo are you referencing my scripts or scripts in general? Population scripts are out dated due to the new listings, weapon scripts are outdated due to changed icon sheet pathway, gamemode scripts should work fine, just needs to be updated with the new mutation cvars.
