Before I fiddle with the settings, does it matter if the nose points forward / towards the WP? Sounds silly, but I just need to understand the mechanics.
Again, great work on this.
After I said I figured it out, i hadn't.... Sometimes, the AP will just max speed at about 20ms. I can't figure out why. I'm now down to monitoring weather conditions, changing Waypoints etc. Sometimes the AP goes 100% throttle and 50+ ms with no issues. Sometimes not...
It's and incredible creation, not gonna lie, but this AP is getting me down.
GREAT GREAT flying machine though. Well done.
Just, I can't seem to be able to fly this thing. When AP is enabled in flight mode, (empty - no load) the throttle hovers at 23% and 'SPD' shows 23 the whole time.
Is the SPD speed? Which is 23m/s or kts? Can't get it to go to 53m/s. Can't override the throttle either...
Am i just dumb?
- Added a button that will allow you to manually set LOAD MODE active. It replaces the LOAD ACTIVE INDICATOR in the control panel. The MODE Status shows up in the HUD: IDLE (Ground Idle), FLT (Normal Flight Mode, good for unladen flights) and LOD (Load Mode which sets the system to carry heavy loads by amping the RPS on the Engines and setting the gearboxes for more RPS)
Would be cool if you could add an option to manually switch to "load mode", cause if you attach a cargo just with the ropes you can't lift it due to missing engine power
