Tell me, do I understand correctly that this mod can be installed with some other Chaos invasion? for example, the same Guv's. Or is it not?

Yes, I think that some Chaos hordes could spawn on the Norscan shores instead of the Chaos Wastes, i.e. some of the hordes should be moved there instead of creating new ones. I don't think that it would be a good idea to create even more hordes because one of the reasons for the change is the declogging of Chaos Wastes area. If you moved Sigvald there, it would also become harder to cheese the WOC Invasion by jumping all the Chaos LLs right at the start in the Chaos Wastes.

@cybvep omg, lol thought you meant the FACTIONS hahaha, yes not a bad idea at all, think up within or like sea just north of nordland? Think you're idea being so the WoC hit different zones of empire right?

RE: 5. I think that it's ok if the main WOC faction is purely a northern one because your new ones spawn in different places. However, I think that some of the hordes could be moved to Norsca so that the Chaos Wastes aren't clogged with armies. Moving Sigvald and some WOC armies to Norsca would make sense IMO.

4. Yeah only 10 armies, they'll spawn across the world at same locations of new factions but no major congregation of them, this is now up there with a skaven themed version of the mod(ie for people want to do a skaventide playthrough with chaos) and hopefully one day having them all under one umbrela with the MCT (proving easier said than done to adapt it tho)
Good food for thought though, also help address the issue with Empire only really facing WoC, can increase number of hordes and place some new locations on the map within the Empire, just have to do some trial and error with map coordinates :D
5. Oh ya, that would be issue with vanilla mainly, the hordes from the mod have no spawn point there, maybe look into adding two more in southern end of the map would help if they wouldnt derp tho I imagine

3. Awesome, yeah unfort with the spawn locales Empire going to be sparse and youll have the main WoC faction to deal with but take'll a while for rest of the hordes to show up on your borders, if they make it through the AI like dwarves etc.

Feedback:
1. The minor armies are using all their stances. They are even using agents from time to time. Good stuff.
2. Annoyingly, the main WOC faction was super derpy. They razed a few settlements, fought a few battles and then just stopped doing anything. Most of their armies were in the Chaos Wastes doing nothing at all. The armies in Naggarond were mostly idle as well.
3. The fights with Chaos, when they actually happened, were fun :).
4. There is not much Beastmen presence during the Invasion. I think that it would be fun if some armies were spawned for various Beastmen factions, as despite their rework the AI Beastmen have very low survivability (including AI Beastmen LLs).
5. The Chaos Wastes area is very clogged with armies. Maybe some of them should be moved to Norsca? Sigvald?

@cybvep I witnessed one horde recruiting last night lol It is rare it seems (likely due to game's AI in general), but the problem was when I first added stances I added raiding camp, not mustering(this time I just copied and pasted what main chaos factions stances were), and I'm thinking now even if give AI that raiding camp stance, not all factions have scripts to actually recruit with it unless make one.

So ya TL;DR - They recruit now/full stances enabled and I even noticed one agent embed in army was recruiting.

Thanks! Yes unfort, if invasion hasn't come maybe can initiate diplomacy with the faction? I doubt they'll see reason though haha Otherwise yes, I just saw the invasion pop in my thorek campaign, I've been using an autosave to test these recent updates to make sure save compatible, so you should be cool.

For Bjorn-war I lucked out with my Thorek campaign right now as think Norsca just confed'd them or something (i imagine the turn 1 war against the world didn't end up going so hot for a minor norsca faction lol)

I will provide additional feedback when I get the chance to play more. Curious how the changes will affect an ongoing Volkmar campaign. No Chaos Invasion there yet, it's sth like turn 50+, so in theory everything should work except the Bjornlings being at war with everybody at the start, as that ship has sailed already.

Oh, please let me know if you notice any issues from these changes, mainly as you seem to play mod a lot if you see challengers finally recruiting troops, and thank you again @cybvep for all the times you've posted your notes, etc with the mod!

@cybvep, gone ahead and updated, my changes don't seem to have caused any issues. Changed the challenger factions to HOPEFULLY use same military/faction AI as main chaos hordes (only notable difference I could find in the db, but was one there would explain why they were dumb firing around)
- Sarl is now our norsca faction, I think maybe potential issue is they are "awakened" by AI during campaign, but really can't remember last time I saw Sarl in the game since first one, or within Vortex campaign or something, so either way hopefully they're better faction to use. In time going to toss in new faction flag for them too, rename them "raiders of doom" or something, I dunno lol but ya bring them in line with challengers in flavour, for now functionally speaking we shouldn't have that constant at war in campaigns with bjorn now

@cybvep, yes I only ever tried adding in the stances, which they use now, but working on a fix right now based on both our observations of their behaviour and a difference I noted between factions and the main chaos factions db entries. If this doesn't work, then it may just be way factions are designed (based on norsca challengers after all and those are just dumb fire in that campaign)

For the norsca, yes! I noticed that too, working on a fix for that too, having success with first tests of a unused norsca faction, just need to check out their faction db entries, stances, etc and do some testing.

Also, I've been wondering why minor Chaos factions are only using the raid stance and never rebuild their armies. You've never solved this issue. Maybe they are simply broke...

It seems that with this mod on, the whole world starts at war with Bjornlings. Probably a leftover from the old times when they were not an on-map faction at the start.

@Eli yes coop is the last major hurdle for me with this mod. I'm limited in my time, and internet quality, to do real test of coop but I've learned some more about de-syncs etc, and over this weekend actually I'm hoping to sit down and try to figure out what is going on there with the reports of de-syncs in the people who have tried. In theory, this mod should work with coop(script is not far removed from what the vanilla does at all), but something is not copacetic.

How about a submod which increases difficulty for co-op games? :) Everyone likes to die together in a very hard chaos invasion, real end times stuff

Some additional suggestions/observations/reports:
1. Newly added Chaos factions don't contribute to the "settlements razed by Chaos" counter which is a shame IMO. Not very immersive.
2. The standard WoC factions use stances and generally act as you would expect. However, the newly added factions don't use stances at all. They also don't seem to build any units from what i saw. Seems derpy.
3. Two Skull Crushers armies in the southern Darklands just stood there and did nothing until I attacked them. Also, at least two of their spawned agents were completely passive as well. They didn't move at all and I couldn't even target them with my agents.

I'm enjoying this mod so far in the Malus campaing. I'm playing with all the recommended mods except "Expanded Roster - Chaos Dwarfs". There is good variety of armies and thanks to the Chaos Invasion slider you can tweak the difficulty. The invasion arrived at turn 147 in my case, so it's true that it comes in the 140-160 range. Personally, I would have it arrive 15 or 20 turns earlier. I had to force myself a bit to wait for Chaos because late-game is a bit stale and repetitive in WH2 (I end most of my campaigns by turn 100-120). It would be great if the arrival time was tweakable in the MCT.

Was expecting the tide to come at turn 90-110. Was silly of me, guess they should be coming at turns 140-160.

@Aster oh for DE too, push to confederate Malus as Malekith or vice versa ASAP, then you can fight chaos on two diff fronts, Tzeech main spawn is by dragon isles so for a lot of playthroughs never see them, just secondary spawn off volcano isles in south.

Personally, and all of this is of course IMO lol, but I play a lot with Dark Elves(fav faction overall, and from reading books like the Sundering like playing my head canon with Malekith).

I think there's something special about Empire as well with the squishier infantry, but still strong heroes and high tier tech/ranged. Had a a lot of fun last stands with Empire.

Last but not least for me is Vampire Counts. Weird choice maybe but I like bum rushing Empire early on, go and gank Kislev and form what I like to call the "Wall of the Dead" in the north Maybe even more so than Empire, you have good heroes and generals to make up for softer infantry, and gives that edge of desperation.

Wood Elves prob be a desperate but fun time too I'd imagine.
