Because the stonemixer dos not work like it was planned am i thinking to remove it from the mod. Because it use the same block like the other productionblocks would i recommend to remove the concretemixer and replace it with the ConcreteDry furnace or the assembler....

One simple thing is possible to do: stones get milled to gravel and some of the gravel gets burned to cement... All of this is possible in one "refinery" but it means all in small amounts. No big deal to implement this for those who want build up a fully automated productionline. Any sugestions?
andigogo  [author] 6 Nov, 2020 @ 1:28pm
okay that is it not. I think i know now what the problem is... The refinery is sending pullrequests at any conveyerline connected... where the refinery get response (Ore) first from it just pull until its full or the item finished. then the next responded request will be pulled. So it looks like its not possible to get the thing working in the refinery directly. I was adding all stuff for production in the assembler again, so if you start rebuilding/optimizing your productionline you can use the assembler again to mix concretedry and concrete for the blocks. You still can produce gravel with the stonemill and you have to use Survivalkit or cementfurnace for production of the cement. I go and try out if i get the mixer working while using a collector and 5 ejectors which deliver the needed items... will keep you informed how that worked out...

thanks for the tip, i will check it out

Are you using izy's inventory manager? it can cause issues with modded refineries as it still recognises them as a refinery
Type !Manual before the refineries name to exclude it from Izy's

Thanks :) what i found out in my productionline on small grid: refinery - works fine. CementFurnace- works fine. ConcreteMixer - dont pull in the stuff by itsself.. have exactly the same lines like the normal refinery which means: it should pull all.... i have no idea why this happens and how to change that. What works is, making concretestuff in the assembler, this one pulls all like its needed but there is to put in the amount by hand... I dont know igf this is maybe a problem with another mod but can not even guess which one it could be. Looks like i have to make more tryouts... but if someone of you have an idea what the problem could be, just write it and i will go to fix the problem...

Yeah i heard all about that German concrete myself, what i can tell you about your game concrete is that it stands up to sustained smell arms fire for a little tiny bit longer than light armour, so, i would say, you have guessed well, it is now competative and therefore, worth the extra effort required in throwing all that gravel, cement and stone around
andigogo  [author] 3 Nov, 2020 @ 11:50pm
The problem with all the adjustments is, i have absolutly no idea how much stress light and heavy armor can handle in reality. I am german and there was a report about the bunkers Adolf Hitler built. This concrete is of a special type they still have problems to recreate on easy way. But this bunkerconcrete is extrem stable....

That change seems just about spot on :)
andigogo  [author] 3 Nov, 2020 @ 5:42am
Okay, i will check it up and raise the level. was thinking about it already but not sure if i should do it and how much, your response confirm that there is need for adjustment, thanks :)

This is now working fine in the survival kit, after using a whole bunch of concrete to build my latest structure i have noticed something though, the concrete blocks and slabs can't sustain very much damage, as most of the blocks require some kind of metal component for reinforcement, could you raise the hitpoints a little, maybe to just short of the level of light armour? this will then make all the faffing around making the stuff totally worthwhile and make concrete a viable building option, because, as it stands currently, you can slap down a light armour frame any old where with just the basics and the concrete should be more convenient or at least competative to light armour in some way, just my thoughts from a few hours playtesting

i will check what you mean... there showed up some other problem too so i am already working at a fix... thanks for the tip. started engineers and go to figure out your survivalkit problem ;)

Looked up the mod i was thinking of but it wasn't suitable
beezarandy 31 Oct, 2020 @ 7:02am
for some reason one of the items i need for dry concrete is showing up in the survival kit as a default block shape labelled N/A Any help here? Oh and there is a mod out there (industrial something or other) that adds new looking versions of things, maybe you could ask nicely and borrow some of their models? i'll see if i can look it up for you
andigogo  [author] 29 Oct, 2020 @ 10:33am
Yeah i agree, but i am not that good in this, texturing is just not my thing. If someone can create modells and want make some feel free to contact me. I was just thinking, that staying on vanillamodells makes it easier to keep the stuff updated if/when Keen is changing things... function will stay and the model will update by itself, because its just linked to the vanillamodelfolder..... ;)

Now all this needs is unique models for your machinery ^^

Production i good ballanced, and wery simple , i like it.
SOBEK 24 Oct, 2020 @ 8:19am
Hi. For me is good enough. Thanks for this.
andigogo  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 3:01am
Need response now about the productiontimes. Should somehting produce faster, more slow... i think i made it real enough but would like to hear your opinions.
SOBEK 18 Oct, 2020 @ 5:37am
All work , no errors :) Thanks for fast fix :)
Stay save.
SOBEK 18 Oct, 2020 @ 5:27am
Hi. I em back , added and tell you after load game :)
andigogo  [author] 18 Oct, 2020 @ 3:31am
I was deleting the local files of all mods i used, after the reload had i critical errors in 8 mods. So am i not sure what caused these errors. Made upload of the latest version of the Concrete Mod i use and this should be without critical errors now. Would be nice if you can give me response if you still have critical erros. Thanks
SOBEK 17 Oct, 2020 @ 12:12pm
Hi. Have critical error on load world with mod :) just added and error.
