Can you do the USS Cyclops next?

ah
TiVo  [author] 24 Nov, 2021 @ 8:53pm
It's a WIP, I'm planning to completely overhaul the interior to be more realistic much like my other ship, the USS Sterett. I'm not sure how long that'll take, but it'll release as a separate version. I'll post updates here as I make progress.
khunter3911 24 Nov, 2021 @ 1:04pm
make this a dlc one?
TiVo  [author] 20 Nov, 2021 @ 9:13am
The DLC version of the USS Sterett is out now! With the Sterett out of the way, I can focus on improving the King and getting that ready for the DLC too!

Given the release of the DLC I may come back to update this ship for the "modern" era and make a more proper version for the DLC. I have yet to start on this, as I'm working on my other version currently, but once I finish with that, I'll probably update this and make it a separate release so those who don't have the DLC can still use the King to the fullest potential. Feel free to let me know what ya'll think! Thanks for the support and the downloads everyone, it means a lot to me, and I'll be seeing you soon with something that packs a punch!
TiVo  [author] 7 Oct, 2021 @ 11:41pm
I'm a better decorator than I am a builder, I'm sure there's people that'd do it a lot better than me, but thank you for your support!

I love the ship do you think you can make the Destroyer Harukaze ?
TiVo  [author] 1 Jul, 2021 @ 3:17pm
Did you make sure the electric breakers were on in the power plant? Or that all the buttons in the engine room were pushed or toggled?
69thSpecialForcesGroup 1 Jul, 2021 @ 2:05pm
I read the start up process, and did it all, but the ship will not move. how can I fix this
TiVo  [author] 26 Jun, 2021 @ 9:19am
Toyed with the idea and went full ahead, the USS Sterett is now available

Thank you very much, I'm glad it's serving you well. I never really planned to make any more vessels, much less larger ones. However, if I was to do something, I was thinking of sticking to the smaller classes of destroyers or destroyer escorts. I feel that they could be a great utility in a world like this. I'd probably end up going with something of the Evarts or Cannon class. However, if I did do a larger destroyer in the future, the Benham class would probably be my first choice, as she seems like a slightly scaled down Farragut. Much like the Wasp class is to the Yorktown Class.

I love this clemson class destroyer! ive been getting a lot of use out of it, could you make a farragut class destroyer?
gerf 28 Mar, 2021 @ 7:13am
make a ss kaiser wilhelm de grosse out of this it would be cool
TiVo  [author] 25 Jan, 2021 @ 12:13am
By all means, of course, provide credit and maybe leave a link to it here. I'd love to check it out!
spencerk062 24 Jan, 2021 @ 9:36pm
would it be okay if upload a modified version of this to the workshop? I've made quite a few modifications to make this a versatile combat capable multi-role destroyer. I removed the water cannons entirely and replaced them with GuP Effector compatible deck guns and AA guns that can sink a ship or shoot down an aircraft from over a kilometer away, I've replaced the depth charge rack with a set of four kinetic mines, and I've completely repainted the ship to match a WW2 era dazzle camoflauge scheme designed for the clemson class. I've also added a LUA pool table to the officers lounge and put a functional map table in the planning room.

Primus, I suggest crouching as you climb the ladder, it's the easiest way to get out.
ThatBucketGuy 23 Jan, 2021 @ 7:34pm
When you attempt to go up the ladder in the engine room, there seems to be no way to actually get back to the main floor, it just drops you back into the engine room.

!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you tell me more about the issue?
⟡2Fort Is ∞⟡ 26 Dec, 2020 @ 1:33am
redo the engine room i get stuck in it
TiVo  [author] 22 Dec, 2020 @ 11:32am
I'm glad you're enjoying her, however, you don't need infinite electric to run her. As long as you have the idle generator running, you'll be fine. The radar eats up a huge amount of power, so you can flip the breaker if you don't need it. If you're gonna run the generator while idling, flip the general electric breaker first in the power plant. It's powerful enough to run her with everything going while idle. I'll check around sometime later and see if there's anything I can fix.

Absolutely epic ship! The only problem I found with this ship is that the lights require infinite electrics but that is the only problem this ship has. Great job!
TiVo  [author] 14 Dec, 2020 @ 9:45pm
No problem, I hope it helped!

Thank You
TiVo  [author] 9 Dec, 2020 @ 3:21pm
Once you activate the pump breakers in the power plant, she's in a smaller hatch between the general store and the post office. Like when you come down the stairs, it'll be on the far end and I believe the area is painted black.

TiVo  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 6:12pm
That's okay, have fun!
cjcummings2007 9 Nov, 2020 @ 6:10pm
Never mind I am just an idiot
TiVo  [author] 6 Nov, 2020 @ 5:41pm
CJ, can you walk me through your steps? I'll see if there's anything I can help with.
cjcummings2007 6 Nov, 2020 @ 5:06pm
I can't seem to start her up and I'm sad
TiVo  [author] 26 Oct, 2020 @ 6:51pm
Thanks for the heads up!

TiVo  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 2:22pm
Thank you, I'm happy that you really enjoy this ship. I can't really say what I'll do in the future, but for sure, I'll keep this vessel as up to date as possible, and maybe add new features where I can find room
CqmrdeUwU 24 Oct, 2020 @ 11:16am
and love it so much!
CqmrdeUwU 24 Oct, 2020 @ 11:13am
its the best altho i wish you will make more "tiny detroyers"
TiVo  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 9:01am
There's also a weird glitch with hatches where there's technically water between the gap, so it's possible to get stuck and float there too, but I think that's an issue with the game, not so sure. Luckily it doesn't flood anything
TiVo  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 9:00am
If you can't get out while on the ladder, crouch and you'll climb higher. You should then be able to get out easier
TiVo  [author] 24 Oct, 2020 @ 8:56am
I'll check it out
CheeseGrater10 24 Oct, 2020 @ 7:14am
I cant get out of the engine room
phillydopey 23 Oct, 2020 @ 7:09pm
ill be making the ugly liberty ship
AshtheBoss0326 23 Oct, 2020 @ 6:45pm
something wrong with engine room lader it would not let out
TiVo  [author] 22 Oct, 2020 @ 11:35am
She's built to fight flooding, I used to have a lot of issues with Megs so I'd run constant tests finding ways to counter it. Fires are still a bit tricky, I'm still trying to optimize firefighting onboard. I'm happy you're enjoying it though, keep it up, she'll go down!
Lego_Teh_Eggo 22 Oct, 2020 @ 11:07am
Little bugger is very tricky to sink. Kept slamming missiles into it but it contains flooding very well. Only real danger is if the engines get hit. Love this.:steamhappy:
TiVo  [author] 21 Oct, 2020 @ 6:22pm
No problem, I hope you enjoy it.
Raven 21 Oct, 2020 @ 6:13pm
Thank you for the recommendation.
TiVo  [author] 21 Oct, 2020 @ 5:36pm
Advisor, I haven't really messed with subs a whole lot, but the best one I've come across is the SIDE Holt Class. It's armed with four of the same kind of torpedoes the King uses, just bigger. It can reliably cause damage if you're looking to do so. If you're looking for historical accuracy though, I haven't found a sub or PT boat with torpedoes of a similar caliber yet.
TiVo  [author] 21 Oct, 2020 @ 5:31pm
Never quite had those issues myself. If the hatches or galley doors are closed, I wouldn't worry about water, but if the wind is high, I'd stay at the helm and battle the wind. Or I'd say turn on the bilge pumps prior to leaving port.
dellreybeach 21 Oct, 2020 @ 5:21pm
The Ship will capsize either way as the water will enter at a rapid pace so i doubt getting to damage control within 15 seconds from the bridge is quite Possible.
