It had a bug of accelerating the hp/regen if you left the game and rejoined the save, then the mod would add "another" instance of the regen. So maybe you left and came back again and again to the same save file?

It's been years since I touched this mod, you could try this one instead, it has configuration for you to control https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2290626885 :)

the mod doesn't seem to work properly? It regens the set amount, but right after that it adds random value what seems to be between 10 and 30 to the health. So it heals from 10 to 30 times more than it should, making the game too easy.

make it accelerating regen.

props for posting the other mod too

I like fixed regen amounts better than the percentage regen, but this mod doesn't have as many options. For example, I would like to be able to dictate at what % of max HP that regen stops like in the percentage mod. Or at what % of max HP that regen is considered critical instead of a fixed 20%.

I also like the idea that has been mentioned elsewhere, of the addition of a "Time since last taken damage" timer where regen is stopped for a period of time after taking damage.

Well i think both options would be perfectly fine! :)

To those of you who have been asking about saturation based healing. I likely won't update this mod to work like that. Instead I think a separate mod would be better.

Although I've thought about combining all the ideas into one single mod, allowing you to configure it to be percentage based, point based (like this mod already is) or saturation based. Depending on your personal liking.

There is a similar(Percentage based), more updated mod here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2290626885

Thank digitalbarrito, Kamakazi_Llama, RedBeardVIII & Senko-san for their work in updating it.

Spook404 is completely right the saturdation should determine your health regeneration, could you please change this :)
PartyMAN7 24 Dec, 2020 @ 2:33pm
I think it would make more sense if you only regenerated health when saturated, and the regen depends on that saturation, because as it stands the saturation is completely pointless

thanks

@Vikinger93: Open up the config.lua file (How to find it is in the description above).

"DelayBetweenRegen" is the variable you want to change, it determines how long the delay is between getting healed, default is 9 seconds.
The other two variables determine how much you are healed normally and when under 20 hp.
Vikinger93 30 Nov, 2020 @ 3:19am
I am not a coding genius, but what variable do I tweak to change rate of regeneration?
Allifreyr  [author] 11 Nov, 2020 @ 12:46am
@Reading Rambo: Yeah, I've been thinking about that. Either that or maybe have 2 mods, one for passive regen(This mod) and the other for satiation levels :)
Evelyn 11 Nov, 2020 @ 12:17am
You know what would be a good way to balance this mod and tie it to an otherwise un-utilized game feature? Tie your small passive health regen to your satiation level, like Minecraft does. Nothing else really uses your satiation level.

Imagine being such a grump you actually care how people enjoy a single player game.

baby mod

@Salamander_svk: Yup, you are right. It does do that, I will fix it after the weekend when I get home :)

@Evolart: I'm not entirely sure, might be a different mod that might be causing conflicts? Could you try disabling mods here and there? You might figure out which mod is causing the problem and then I can take a look at it :D
evolart 30 Oct, 2020 @ 4:33pm
This isn't working for me at all even at the top of my mod list. Any tips on what I might need to do to get it working?
salamander_svk 29 Oct, 2020 @ 7:01pm
I think your mod creates new instance every time game is loaded after save&quit.
Every time I continue from last save, healing effect is becoming stronger.
Allifreyr  [author] 29 Oct, 2020 @ 6:41pm
@VoidInsanity: Nice suggestion, Might look into it. You can change the code yourself if you know anything about code but might do it myself.

@salamander_svk: Oh, that hasn't happened to me at least in any of my play playthroughs. Any idea in what situation you were in when that happened? You can look at the config files to see if they have been changed or if you changed them by accident?
salamander_svk 29 Oct, 2020 @ 5:44am
Nice mod but not really working as advertised. It can give about 200hp per minute.
Amarantamin 28 Oct, 2020 @ 1:31pm
VoidInsanity, you can modify these things in the config files, and in the code for the mod.
VoidInsanity 28 Oct, 2020 @ 3:43am
Would be neat if you could do a version that was faster that healed upto the threshold to stop the screen flashing but the healing only started if you haven't taken any damage for 10 seconds.
Allifreyr  [author] 25 Oct, 2020 @ 9:25pm
@Amarantamin, I haven't looked that much into the hunger components but that's a neat idea. Might be a bit overpowered since eating is really easy. Would be cool to add a bit of healing to eating certain things, that's definitely worth checking out! :)

I would recommend the official Noita Discord server if you haven't already, they have a section for modding. Bunch of helpful people there if the official documentation isn't helping you out enough.

@LABmonkey, don't currently own Spelunky 2 but I might check it out if I get myself into buying it later :)
Amarantamin 25 Oct, 2020 @ 2:41pm
How difficult would it be to change this so that the player heals 1 HP per Hunger percent? For example if player has 5% hunger, they heal 1HP when it goes to 4%, 1HP when it goes to 3%, etc, healing 5HP total once the entire 5% is consumed?

I am trying to figure it out but honestly I know very little about LUA and am somewhat lost trying to work out what variables to check for.
LABmonkey 25 Oct, 2020 @ 12:49am
Please make this for Spelunky 2! ;)
