Lag...when some things appear in Meso, my frames are lowered too much

I really like this character, but the window to activate the ice and fire forms seems a little small. It's much better than before, but compared to the ease of access of earth and wind, it still seems off. Either that or (and i'm not recommending this, just pointing out another option) make a switch menu tied to taunt in the style of Oboama. Yes, I spelled that correctly, and if you are wondering why I needed to clarify that, read it again.:steamhappy:

Good to know. I'll have to look into that at some point.

Encountered a bug where the ultimate attack makes your opponent invincible. If it helps, I was testing the new changes with this patch against ori in the training room, facing left, beneath the right platform.

Thank you <3

Could you allow jab to cancel into tilts for the first two hits, for some reason he lacks this ability despite the basecast being able to do it
Frost Falcon  [author] 11 Nov, 2020 @ 5:33pm
That's a thing in the base game. I'm pretty sure every workshop character has it on a certain color slot.

This isn't a bug but something I'm somewhat curious about, when entering playtest with the Winter a Santa Claus hat appears for some reason.

I'm not sure if Rivals has some kind of code that finds terms like winter or something and puts hats on said color palette but then why would it only be for playtest.

I know Rivals has those super weird holiday base color palettes (I refuse to call them skins) so that might be what's going on, I've seen it before with another character but have no idea why it's caused.

That's not a bad idea, but he already has a lot going on between the UI and particles. I don't think an outline would work, but if I can think of something for it, I'll consider it.
7Spells 9 Nov, 2020 @ 7:15am
Just an idea. What if you gave Mezo a small outline with a color corresponding to the elements he can access. (For example, he starts with a green outline that changes to white when he's in the air and will change to red when he's next to an opponent in hitstun). This way it's easier for the player to know what element you're going to get and it also gives you a better understanding of what down b does without having to look up a guide.
AHumanGuy 9 Nov, 2020 @ 6:51am
down b won't work

I really like this character, I'm surprised it hasn't been done yet.

His design reminds me of a small legendary Pokemon, I hope to see some compatibility for stuff.
Frost Falcon  [author] 5 Nov, 2020 @ 11:44am
He was in the rivals workshop direct.
Shy 4 Nov, 2020 @ 2:40pm
@Frost Falcon say no more im going to main this character so thats good to know (now that 5 workshop mains) :D

I like the characters design. I think its a really cool concept, but there are a few things I think need to be adjusted. For earth, the neutral feels too strong, as it feels like Etalus' neutral but better. For air, the traps are too hard to see in an ongoing match, and so it feels kind of unavoidable to hit them. For water, the netural and side specials I think do too much of a knockback/interrupt, to the point where spamming them almost stunlocks your opponent. And for fire, I've been trying for a while now and I can't get it to activate, so a more generous/easier activation would mean that people would be able to use it.
LowkeyHomo 4 Nov, 2020 @ 2:07pm
I really like the character! But I feel that fire mode is kinda hard to activate (or maybe i'm just bad lol.) because by the time the endlag of your move is over they're either no longer in hitstun or too far away. The fire neutral-b also seems kinda... useless? It's really slow and doesn't really have an ending hit so it doesnt really seem to do much, unless i'm missing something?
Tacomonster83 4 Nov, 2020 @ 1:19pm
i agree with KU, i feel like if there was a menu it would ruin the really cool gimmick that the character has.
Frost Falcon  [author] 4 Nov, 2020 @ 1:18pm
The way down B works is a core part of his design. I'm not changing it just so he's easier to play. The requirements were specially created to compliment the form you go into (i.e. you combo into fire down B and then get a better combo). Also, @KU, you can parry into ice down B, the timing is a b it strict though.
Shy 4 Nov, 2020 @ 12:58pm
@ENMAY honestly I dont know if this character needs to have a menu to swap between elements doing these requirements makes the character unique and there not that hard to activate while your in an intense match except ice we should be able to parry then down b to activate ice not get hit, or parry someones attack first. (also switching to any element on the spot would be broken imagine going from pichu to ganon in a blink of an eye and yes having some sort of cool down will ruin the character I meen its a master of elements why should a master have cooldown)
ENMAY 4 Nov, 2020 @ 12:33pm
I honestly think it'd be better for down b to just open the menu instead of having these weird requirements. It's not like that would be busted. Otherwise it's a very nice character
Dextra_24703 4 Nov, 2020 @ 10:08am
no i mean not what they do but how to activate them like_ parry down special => Ice mode; be hit + near opponent press down special =>Fire mode; ground down special =>Earth mode; air down special => Air mode
Sevsdast 4 Nov, 2020 @ 9:58am
Neutral B needs to be heavily nerfed and this character needs a tutorial.
Frost Falcon  [author] 4 Nov, 2020 @ 9:29am
That would be nice, but unfortunately I can't explain all of it in a brief description. That's why I made the handbook.
Dextra_24703 4 Nov, 2020 @ 9:15am
okay this character is very interesting and i got to activate every mode but i would like if the info on how to get into every mode to be maybe in the info section of the character
