so let's say I'm on break
You'll want to turn down your "Effect Quality" in video down to low. It seems that the effects that Asghaard has used in this particular mod is causing the GPU's to freak out and cause the D3D11 crash.
The cranelated walls have always been a minor feature of some building sets: they were different from normal fences only in appearance and, mainly, they offered a better view for defending in PvP, something that actually not many people used anyway.
Recently, they became a crucial feature for the purge defence (even if there are builders who manage to get noice results without them).
Basically, they became a "slot" where you are able to fit something that's categorized as a "decoration" under the "special" section, and that's the "archer post", which creates a green ghost for thralls that are equipped with a bow and, once these archers are placed, it prevents them from moving and increases their max shooting range by 20 meters.
I don't play the game, and if it's something that's appeared in the last 3 years, it's possible that I'm not aware of this feature. I'll try to figure out what it is when I do an update.
Placing archers without these fixed positions is very painful for me as I don't seem to be able to make them perform as efficiently as if they'd be stationed at an archer post.
I'm going to go out on a limb and potentially assume for AMD GPU's that it can't handle the potential fire/lava effects of the stations doing it.
However, I think it was the opening of the inventory that was no longer working.
Normally, you click on the metal bowl, it opens the inventory, you put items in it, and then you trigger the animation, and you can then retrieve the contents of the inventory at the point of arrival.
I think thats my last AMD grafik card xD
You're the only one that report this kind of issue.
