@Skywatcher68 Trash launcher should be a trash-launching equivalent to the incendiary launcher / EMP launcher / Smoke launcher. The trash shells or garbage shells are the ones you need, those go into the mortar.

Also thanks a lot for letting us know about the patch! I really wanted this for my Absolute Degeneracy mod list.

All those waiting for 1.3 version: RimTrash - Clean the Seas contains a patch. Activate both and feed trash to your prisoners again! Trash launcher is present as well but I can't find how to make shells for it. Probably haven't researched that, yet.

Why? why does the mod creator have to check for compatibility? You can do it easily yourself, so the mod maker can spend quality time on other sheet like making mods or spend time with their family or fap or whatever

it's only use is for RP or to get rid of trash, and burning gets rid of trash easier anyways

although, trash mixed meal is a bit unbalanced. it requires more work then a simple meal (as it requires one) to make, but does not have an advantage over simple meals.

All I'd like to see is some kind of pollution mechanism in the game now. Like, burn trash long enough and the surrounding will show discolouration. Will affect fertility of soil and pawns, pollute water sources, increased risk of diseases e.g. from eating crops that grow near, or from breathing when there's no wind (foggy), etc

I really like the idea of this mod but it leaves me wanting dumpsters and trash cans to fill up

Awesome idea for a mod! Tested it out however when I tell my pawns to clean up a room by force, no trash is generated.

@pgames-food Will it be compatible with RimTrash? I really dislike the way waste is managed in the real world, and the very inefficient recycling that goes on. At least in games, I'd like to see a society that is somewhat eco-friendly.

trash bags as a negative value trade item. you can pay traders to take it away or be paid to take it and burn it.

Excelent idea.

I have ideas for you.
You could add more ways to eliminate trash, and then give a debuff if the player chooses to burn it (since it is polluting and a health hazard)
You could add simple trashcans like Gloomy Furniture's pet bowl. Alternatively, Gloomy Furniture has a garbage can that slowly fills up as it consumes the room's filth. You could do something similar to that.

hi lost soul, if you like recycling i made a mod called rimside recycling which lets you recycle stuff.
(not to detract anything from this cool mod though) which might help a bit :)
