Walzmine: What do you mean with fuel pumps? If you mean the refule trucks, they are working atleast on my end with my Mod.

Is Config for fuel pumps for ace are included? the GM fuel pumps are broken/incompatible with ace refuel, even if you manually give them ace_refuel_fnc_makeSource;

Is the memory point issue also why you cant use the MG3 tripods correctly? Apparently even without ace there is an error with the tripods not acting as a compatible weapon once the mg is actually mounted.

Unfortantly this is nothing this mod neither ace itself can fix. This is a problem with the memory points from the Mod itself afaik.

Thanks for this mod. Unfortunately individal wheels on most GM vehicles still can't be replaced with ACE3. I hope this mod will fix it sometime!

My Mod is still in active development and will be updated with more features more frequent then the ACE one. But it's your decision. The ACE one also builds up on my Work.

My Mod does the same as the ace_comp_gm and a little bit more so loading both isn't makes no sense. You need to decide if you want to use mine or the ace one.

There's a ACE compatibility patch now; does this change anything when I'm using your mod? I don't use the ACRE feature, for example but wan't to keep the ACE things. Is it necessary for me to have your mod still enabled when using the new comp-patch?

No, because the mod was built specifically for ACRE2 with ACE (And not reversed) for my own unit in particular. I have on multiple request at least taken the requirement out of the mod itself, since this is not mandatory. So that people can have the mod thereby only for ACE compatibility.

I checked the no requirement of ACRE on github page and code.
and I confirmed that means ACRE are doesn't need more for game running. It's great and thanks your work.
But may you remove the dependency from steam please kindly?


I know steam requirement are not effect to game but launcher shows dependency missing icon.
It's not problem but looks like a error notification and some guys are says "IT'S BROKEN!! NOT GOOD!!!"
My arma3 server want's use your addon with out that notification icon.

I will not remove the ACRE code from the mod. I have already gone so far as to no longer require ACRE2 as a dependency in the mod itself. But on Steam the dependency remains.

Currently there is only the belt linking. I have not yet touched the weapons themselves directly.

Ich weis dass es die Klasse gibt, dass ist ein Workarround, dass man als Zeus auch andere "Skins" setzen kann, seitdem der Vehicle Styler von GM jedoch sehr gut funktioniert nicht mehr zwingend Notwendig aus meiner sicht. Da es aber keinen dedizierten Editor platzierbaren San-Iltis gibt, besteht da kein Fokus.

Es gibt den San-Skin für den Iltis als in mehreren Farben. Aber es ist kein richtiges SAN-Fahrzeug perse, da der echte Typ 183 Iltis in der SAN ausführung anders aussieht: http://www.panzerbaer.de/helper/pix/bw_lkw_00-5t_tmilgl_vw_krkw_1985-001.jpg

Daher werde ich den nicht von meiner Seite leider nicht gesondert als "SAN-Fahrzeug" berücksichtigen. Solange es GM nicht auch selbst macht.

Die Klasse heisst:
"gm_ge_army_iltis_cargo_des_rc"
Und ist nicht im Editor, wohl aber in der Config zu finden, deswegen habe ich mal nachgefragt^^

Das liegt daran, dass es im Editor per default keinen platzierbaren San-Iltis gibt. Es gibt nur die Option die entsprechende Textur aus zu wählen. Alle anderen "San" Fahrzeuge sind schon ohne meinen Mod entsprechend als SAN-Fahrzeuge deklariert, da ACE hier auf die vanilla Definierung zurück greift.

Könntet ihr die Sanitätsfahrzeuge als solche flaggen? Explizit beim Iltis z. Bsp. ist dies derzeit nicht der Fall.

the function to open the ramp and the up/down folding of the mirrors, was built into the modification for a separate event at very short time. Therefore, I did not get to translate this accordingly, but this is planned for a later version.

As it stands now, I won't be watching it in the short term. As I am currently focusing on vehicles and making them compatible with ACRE2 and ACE.

Any plans to take a look at the weapon recoil? As ace had added effects for recoil, certain 7.62x51 weapons clip badly when firing, the G3A3 and MG3 for example.

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the problem. The mod is recognized by Arma 3's own launcher without any problems. It's also the first time I've heard of such a problem.

Hey. I would like to use this mod on our GM server, but sadly players cannot find the Workshop-Entry through the ArmA Launcher. Is there a possible fix for this? So far i have been adding radios and stuff like ace-vars with scripts which is unpleasant.

I can respect that. In my experience they have been a bit too powerful against vanilla equipment. (as in g3 one shotting everything while an equivalent vanilla weapon doing nothing)

Basically that is now a standalone. ACRE is no longer required by the mod itself, only Steam says it is a dependency, because I still have it set up that way.

Maybe I will remove the dependency on Steam in the next update. But that depends on the trolls.

Because Steam unfortunately has no function for recommended mods. And the mod was built mainly for use with ACRE. I left the requirement at Steam-WS.

It was removed from the mod because I kept getting whiny requests from TFAR users that they can't use the mod in their clan. There were even insults because I have not built TFAR support.

So I decided to remove ACRE from the mod itself as a mandatory requirement (Because of the few friendly requests from some users). So that they can use the mod in their own Arma3Sync repos, but on Steam ACRE remains as a prerequisite.

@boberro we use this Mod in our unit without such a problem, the gme_btr60 only requires gme_main so there is only something missing, but when gm is loaded before this it should be fine. We never had such an issue with any mission. And we use it frequently.

@sancron - great mod, but it looks like addon requirements in some PBOs are incorrect, which leads to random server crashes if mission uses vehicles being edited by those pbos (eg. gme_btr60.pbo)
