I seem to be bottlenecked at 20 villagers. I have plenty of resources and housing, and I've built more than one of every kind of building, so I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be showing up?

Very good map, but not enough prey animals. I built across the river almost opposite where the villagers are but I found my villagers had to go way to far from home to hunt. So had a lot of trouble keeping everyone fed. More prey animals near the tree free areas, would make it, for me , a great map

Hey buddy Fitzmelton not sure if your still updating this map but the tech values are not viable and the resources like mines esp going from copper to bronze takes way too long and you end up running out of copper before you get to the next level in tech and the resources gathered are way too low we and up running out of logs tannin sticks and once you get to around 175-200 people the jobs list jumps up to 2-300% as the repair of buildings becomes an issue and then they dont farm harvest or hunt. these factors need to be adjusted in the map. Pls fix it. If you can. Ty

One of the best maps I've played for this game, should absolutely do some more maps with uncapped poulation limits. I've pushed nearly 1,000 on this one alone

Hey all. I appreciate the feedback but this isn't a mod. It is just a map. It does not affect people or things being stuck in places or animals getting dehydrated. That is due to base game simulation parameters. You will need to modify your gameplay technique/building or location strategy to accommodate these unique parameters/coding.

As far as the missing natural resources at the beginning this is because the map is based on eastern North America where some off the "missing" resources are not found naturally.

Thank you for all of the feedback but I will not be making changes to this map as I no longer play the game and it is no longer in development. Please feel free to modify the map to your liking, it is fairly easy once you dive into it.

This mod does not work. somehow on both maps my animals + humans seem to be randomly stuck at places around rivers and trees. resulting in 20 people dtying of dehydration. its getting unbearable to play. this mod does not work.

I've logged over 1000 hrs on DoM and it's by far my most favorite pastime. I've tried just about all scenarios/maps and most are so poorly designed it's a complete waste of time. All creators should take notice: Chesapeake Bay by Fitzmelton gets my thumbs up for the best map IF you want a decent level of tension to go along with easy access to resources and tech tree. All others miss the point - ENABLE the "Nomad" option and/or go easy on the tech tree points. I'm way past getting past some very difficult challenge. If that's what you want, go find something else. But this map in Hard mode is challenging enough for me. Great work, Fitzmelton!

Hello... the mapper seems to be no longer going. Heidi.... in the later course of the game comes enough game. It is a very nice card, only the techno is unlocked too quickly.

Can you make an alternative of this map with 1.2 or maybe even 1.5 tech cost I love the map but I don't enjoy the speed at which technology is unlocked.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! In real life those resources do not occur naturally in the region so they are disabled however unlocking agriculture will give you access to grow them.

I love this map. It is fun for casual game play. My biggest issue is that there aren't any wild grains or legumes. Is there a way to add them.

I actually live near the town Nanticoke so I'm having great fun playing them.
