Can't update anything anymore for related reasons. :(
If there is an existing developer though who wants to take over, I'll happily give it (and my other mods) away!
TheAvonix: I just finished implementing the stat bonuses, along with rebalancing all the weapons - that's coming in a few minutes.
There's no plans for a thrall though, I just can't make the thrall slot disappear from the bench. (I have included "thrall bonuses" in the recipes/items directly).
- Getting textures (or other assets) from another mod: No, this is not possible. :(
- Return production to the gaming machine: If you mean, put the recipes back into the blacksmith instead of my own bench - this could be done, but I won't. Clutter-wise my own bench is better for most players, and also:
- Putting it back into vanilla benches would mean, you can use thralls with bonuses to craft the weapons. I prefer to have a flat material discount instead of the bonuses, because for those I would have to rebalance (weaken) all the weapons and tools. :)
I can certainly make higher stat versions of some other dual swords, but that will only happen if/when I ever add a complete collection of other weapons to the mod, not just Star Metal. :)
Possible in the future, but no plans for it anytime soon.
I have a friend working on a bunch of completely new weapons, but that's slow and hard work - may be a long time before we could get to a Katana, if ever.
I mean especially now that you have the ability to upgrade whichever colour you prefer, it could lead to some interesting extra reason to choose one over the other
All weapons and tools in this mod are 1:1 copies of the vanilla star metal ones, meaning they do the exact same things as those. Just with different looks, and increased damage/penetration/durability values.
There are some mods that make higher damage weapons, I can't stop those, thankfully most either make them really hard to get, or are just not mainstream mods.
The only expansion plans I do have left for this mod currently are potentially adding more colours in the future, and adding some custom weapons that friends are working on modelling for me.
They will stay in the new bench. I can't stick thralls in there, but also wouldn't want to (and hate the 2.4 specialist thrall system) - this is for the same reason as I don't plan on making even higher damage weapons: They're balanced to give you an edge over vanilla gear (just like the AoC stuff), but also not make the game too easy. Easy games are boring for most people, and make them stop playing. Wouldn't want that!
So just like with the AoC Kronyx stuff the recent upgrades are mostly the final step, and the only thrall equivalent bonus is that the recipes now need less Star Metal (pretty much the same benefit as the pre 2.4 thralls gave).

I should look into removing the thrall interface altogether though, reduce confusion!
I know how the texture bug and the Starvenom recipe results bug happened and managed to escape me, but I don't know how I didn't notice the thrall bug. So, need to implement additional testing procedures.
Won't be too long though, I expect still this week!
But yeah, the texture thing I just got told, looking into it and the thrall. Sorry I didn't see it here earlier!
The new Textures from the Bench are buggy too and the Bench dont accept my Blacksmith Thrall... idk maybe you have too prove and fix some of this.
