I'd like to apologize for my inactivity. Recently my cousin came to visit me from Connecticut and I've been enjoying my time with him. Currently I am working on extra artillery options for this map for more player customization. With this additional artillery I need time to test to see how balanced it is. The update will also come with some atmosphere changes as I believe the map is currently too bright. I will try to get this update out tonight, if not players will be accommodated with a download link from google drive just so players can see what's in the works. After this update there will likely be another terrain revamp coming a few days after it. That update will extend the terrain of the battlefield. Dates on the road map will be updated as well. A revamp is currently in the works for chickamauga. A revamp for harpers ferry will follow it after. That's all for now, take care.

Interesting, has verifying your files worked? They wont climb ladders if there isn't any artillery.

I can see if I can make more adjustments tonight. But if your bots are able to climb them you should be able to as well.

Are you using any mods which change/affect the movement of your bots? And if you dont mind me asking which version of ravenfield you are running. I had just played point match 20 minutes ago and AI was climbing ladders for me.

I might have an idea of what the issue is. After messing around with the editor, I found that the ladder model is basically backwards.

I will be reverting back to 2.4 because the ravenfield map editor screwed this file up royally somehow. I want players to enjoy a map which works, so please pardon me on this. I will be looking into what's causing this problem. 2.5 was intended for fps optimization, reducing the amount of primitive objects. But after removing all these things it seems as if the ai simply doesn't move.. Sorry for the disappointment, hopefully this revert works.

Alright guys, before the update. The file size was 177.127 MB. its now 149.182 MB so you should get some better frame rates. You should still be playing on simple graphics settings. With 200 bots you should get at least 30 fps.

This is a message going out to all billy yanks and johnny rebs. I would like to thank all of you who have shown your support. I am currently working on solutions to better the frame rate on this map. As many of you know, this map is atrocious when it comes to fps. I will be switching to the lower resolution textures that might be available to me. Secondly, many trees will be removed. I'm sorry, but these assets are just too much. Even for me in the map editor I'll get 30 fps while trying to paint pathways. It's a pain in the rear for me, and I'm sure it's a pain to many others as well. I intend to have this update up by tonight. It might be tomorrow. Keep your heads up. Thank you @tritonics! Im ready to upload the new update. Everything seems to be working fine from spectator mode at the moment, let me know if you think the gameplay is more wholesome!! Also the battle of Chickamauga map is planned to be uploaded this month. However it might be January if there are still problems with this map. At some point I want to assemble a crew to help me with some of these maps. So if anyone is interested please do feel free to shoot me a text. The crew will gain access to google drives to download maps(1861, burnside,Chickamauga) information on locations and battles, and most importantly creating objects out of primitive assets. All crew member will be added as contributors to my workshop items.

Big Ai update tonight! This update keeps both confederate and union soldiers on the main battlefield. They should no longer cluster up inside the forest.
