This mod is the reason why I always come back to this game.
The cruelest way to kill and exploit your opponent and weak.

Rimworld is a good game, but the Anty race is like a fun extension and I can't play without it.

Restore initialization jelly
Optimize some code ticks
Fix bugs in exoskeleton automatic mining
Detailed item categories for anty eggs and other products
Reset bullets for anty acid weapons
Optimize firing effects for anty weapons
Removed a lot of dummy data
Changed anty saliva walls, anti-impact walls, and anti-impact doors to support 1.6 construction options
Attachments can now be attached to saliva walls

Right now 1.6 is an unstable version and I don't want to jump in here right now and have a chat with the duplicate bug reporters.

The 1.6 release of each race mod will be decided after the official 1.6 release of RimWorld.

@Fang i would suggest you keep them as asexual,i did some gene testing long time ago and i remember there are something's wrong if you make them not asexual anymore but feel free to make them female,only the new anties from anty egg won't get the modified genes

@Fang their gender doesnt' matter much since they won't fall in love with other pawns and male can lay eggs as well,and make them female only will be more susceptible to female psychic drone

Hello.

First, this is a very nice mod and it has been a lot of fun using it.

I have a question: I am trying to edit the xml on the mod to allow Anty's to use any hair. I have some hair mods I'll like them to use.

I know the hair of Antys is not hair, but an add-on of their race, and they have race restriction to always be bald.

In order to achieve this, I want to do this:
- Change the add-ons draw size to 0 so they don't appear
- Lift the restriction on bald hair only.


The first point can be done with the mod CharacterEditor within the game, so no issue there.

But for lifting the baldHair I've tried deleting the following line, but it doesn't work:
...\1.5\Defs\Antylike\body\PawnBaseDef.xml -> line 45 <li MayRequire="Ludeon.RimWorld.Biotech">Hair_BaldOnly</li>

If it is not much to ask, can you tell me how to allow the Anty to have hair?

Added new power armor. Although it has low defense, it has mechanoid abilities and various buffs.

A completely empty torso reduces the chance of fatal damage when hit.
it is useful and contains the spine so, it is not completely empty.

The neck and shoulders are connected to the ExoThorax, the upper part of the torso.

The attachment determines the position of the wound graphic and the chain of the holding platform, and there are no in-game problems.

could you move the body parts neck, arms, lungs and heart to torso
currently the the torso is completely empty and useless
with the head and arms' attachment point not aligning with the graphical position

Not sure if it's a bug or not, but it's seems that the anty armor's, all of the late game ones dont cover the exoskeleton of the anties, this seems to cause them to still get one shot or lose limbs from weapons that should've been blocked by the armor. Unless that is intended in which case it's a skill issue on my end.

Coming back to Rimworld after a long while away from it. I'm trying to drop HAR mods.

That aside, just wanted to say this was one of my FAVORITE race mods. It's SO GOOD! Thank you for your hard work. It wasn't just a good race mod, it was inspirational for my own world building outside of Rimworld. It was inspiring and fun. It's fantastic. Thanks for your continued hard work.

Note for anybody who uses this mod with Rimdeed:
Recruiting normal Antys with Rimdeed works fine, but don't try to recruit any tri-jaws as they'll look really scuffed- Appearing as a weird tri-jaw growth on a naked female pawn that lacks a head.
