Failed to open E:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\784150\2312411437\test1\building.ini
It's just one more little thing with the folder structure. The files are located in a second subfolder (22388_Basic Flats). These must be in the first (test1) to be read. The second is therefore not necessary. I manually cropped the files and can now enjoy your houses, they look great.
Thank you!!
If not, i'm sorry, i cant seem to figure out why.
it should be under "residential" in the "mods" category.
Let me know if it shows up.
Thanks for taking into consideration the capacity question. I think it's good for balance. Personally I won't be using the editor made buildings too much, since we have a huge plethora and variety in housing options so far. But I suppose other players will like building cities with this style as predominant, and given some capacities we've seen in some the recent workshop additions, they could easily turn their glorious socialist planned cities to tumorous overpopulated slums :P
The "quadrilatero" building is another example of excessive capacity, just to cite one whose name stuck to mind.
If you look at the building, it looks like it could host 12 generous apartments, or maybe 18 medium ones, or like 25 tiny ones. In any case it's hard to imagine how you can fit much more than 50 adults in it, leave alone 150.
Keep in mind the game only counts the capacity in terms of adults, then the kids come extra.
With 150 adults in such a small building, in a couple months you'd be requiring at least 2 kindergartens just for it...
I'm not criticizing you personally, since it's your 1st mod, but I've noticed many buildings with excessive capacity that is unrealistic compared to what we see.
Have the same problem with two more buildings based on vanilla.
btw can u leave a rating?
thanks
