I like the maps, it could be cool if there were more, but with some of the maps the truck supply routes make it so your defense lines have to necessarily be at a certain distance to the main base otherwise the AI can just kill the player by siege - so you never prepare defenses anyhow close to base.

hey anyone else having a slight issue where your tanks kinda just ignore the lightly armored cars? like they just let them drive by unless i manually tell them to attack it, super annoyin

I beat the Medvedovka mission on Normal and liked it.
- Are "anti-Vehicle" Hedgehogs in Robz Mod different from the hedgehogs in the normal version of the game? I know that both can get flattened by heavy fire, and both can get ordered to be laid down in a single line with a single order. I don't like that I can't lay down a command for a line of "Anti-Tank" hedgehogs using Robz Realism Mod.
- It seems like a good idea to build your barricades so that you have access to hills and buildings.
- Enemy vehicles like jeeps seem to just drive sucessfully through the river on the southeast side of Medvedovka, not even trying to ford at a shallow point.
- Your Guards Rifle LMG soldiers can signal for ammo resupply crates.

- When I run the Medvedovka mission from the start, it starts me at different times of the day.
- Your Personal Points go up for reinforcements as the clock runs even during the initial setup period before the battle.
- You have an empty T34 and AT gun at your base, marked in white on the minimap.They don't have repair kits. Even if you get a kit from somewhere else, the mission doesn't let you repair them, so I guess that either they are for decoration, or a flaw in the "Remastered" version doesn't let you enter them.
- Your default infantry groups have no AT grenades, and no crates have them either. You must need to upgrade your infantry to get infantry with AT grenades.

There are about 9 villages called Medvedovka in the western USSR. Medvedovka in the Ershichsky region is a village of 65 people in the Smolensk region of western Russia. It was occupied by the Germans in August 1941 and freed by the Soviets in September 1943. The Mogilyov region of Belarus has 4 towns called Medvedovka or Medvyodovka, and the Smolensk region of Russia has 4 towns named Medvedovka.

The second "Normal" Mission is Manevichi, set in winter, where you as the Soviets free the village. Manevichi in Ukraine was captured by the Germans on June 28, 1941 and freed by Soviet forces in Feb. 1944.

on the omaha mission the landing crafts keep spawning in a corner and dying over and over

on omaha mission (remastered one) landing craft are keep spawning near the beach at the same location and same time they overrunning themselves and getting destroyed everytime when they spawn. they always in a bug. i can send a SS if u want

Played the missions, I didn't lose a single time (normal) A.I doesn't attack, they just walk towards my defence line and I just kill them.

I like what you have done as I loved the original. But upon firing it up and doing the german one on normal just to try it out I coudn't beat it and I played the original on heroic. The main reason is that on the original one the trucks were worth 500mp instead of them worth 250mp on your version. And the original was balanced on the fact that you got 500mp per truck. that should fix a lot of people that said they can't beat it or with you saying that you can't get the endgame units cause with the original you on heroic I could get all the endgame units and have mp to spare if I managed everything right.

I hope if you have time, the Oasis map need to rebalance. In Heroic, Panzer 4 and 3 spawn very early, and there's not enough MP to reach heavy factory and support tier to counter it. By the time, german troops already rushing the HQ.

When I made this a few months ago I just booted up the game to actually test things, then I would return to the editor after testing. Kinda tedious..

Just tested medvedovka rly quick. It works fine for me. That is the map where you can choose between attacking the workshop in the middle or defending it. Theres 2 buttons on the right of the screen when the mission starts that let you pick. Do you see that?

You sure you have robz 1.28.1 enabled?

Maybe try this
1. Unsub from this mod
2. Make sure its deleted fully from the men of war steam folder

Is the Medvedovka map broken? I tried to play it with friends and by myself but the mission just doesn't work at all. All it does is spawn in the truck and nothing else.

Off the top of my head it affects starting money and prep time for sure. I'm almost certain the difficulty affects enemy units as well, yes.

Love this, thanks very much! Everything works perfectly besides the Omaha defense. One question, does the difficulty setting only adjust prep/defense times, or also the enemy units?

@nog, Yes that mission is rather broken. Its an old bug that carried over from the original mission RobZ made 4 or so years ago, the AI has trouble deciding where to land and unload the troops. Theres a lot of scripting and waypoints involved in that mission and most of it is too complex for me to wrap my head around lol.

I think if you reduce the difficulty it will reduce the amount of boats landing and cluttering up the beach. Maybe that will help the AI pathfinding?

Hey, love the mod, tried the omaha beach landing, the landing craft would rarely land, and ended up as cannon fodder for our large guns. Are we doing sometrhing wrong or is this mission just a bit broken atm?

It is possible to add more units however I won't be doing that. This is strictly making the original mod compatible with RobZ.

Also it will be great if we can get an option to tweak point income as "low,medium,high" to compensate with hard-heroic difficulty.

I suppose you could do that yeah. Just edit one sides vehicles per map, and *only* use those sides for the map.

I didnt load the missions into the editor, but they seem to be very script heavy. I would be weary of deleting the starting units, they might be tied to some scripts idk.

Yeah I have been playing that mod since Assault Squad 1 ... was released by some asian dude as far as I remember back then... and I can imagine that its extreme work to do it... Do you think it would be easier to "wipe" the maps (I mean make them spawn without any mg's, guns etc.) and just choose one country per map? Would that be less work? Just to edit the lets say german tanks you can choose? should be somewhat similar to your "remastered" defense missions for robz

I took a peek at that mod earlier today. It looks really fun and I think it'd be extra fun with RobZ as well. But the way the maps are set up makes it require a tremendous amount of time to fix the units' inventories to be RobZ compatible. You'd have to manually add the correct ammunition for each faction's vehicles/guns, and there are four or five factions per map with dozens of vehicles each. The soldiers are always easy to fix, click one button in the editor and all soldiers are updated to robz version, but the vehicles are always a pain in the ass to work with RobZ.

It looks like in the comments section that the mod author will eventually be porting that mod over to Gates of Hell when that comes out. So thats one thing to look out for when it comes out.

If u have knowledge of the editor you could do it yourself... its not hard, just tedious.
