Hey, sort of. I may look at doing this as a type of end game event, but may also look at doing a general invasion overhaul for Kurgan stuff too. I need to port over my other mods first (an easier task) but once done I'll look at this. If the task looks big, I'll probably quickly port this anyway.

Thanks sniper! I am using a bunch of mods, SFO included, but I seem to be getting empy loc boxes when the invasion spawns. I get three of them. I've had a glance through the pack file and SFO doesn't seem to have the same .loc files as your mod. Is there any chance you could point me in the direction to trouble shoot it some more please?

Yes, this only fires if you are playing as Yvresse.

I absolutely adore this mod but had trouble avoiding crashes. After heaps of testing it has a conflict with the cost based army caps mod by Jadawin, a mod I normally wouldnt play without

on the ME campaign, the army that spawns near Tralinia never moves. Also, is it possible to make it so the armies coordinate their attacks and reinforce each other during the siege?

Tried a clean save with only the mod and still doesnt work. I have only tried it on vortex though, not sure about ME.

Attacking the marker does nothing but having your army stand there, no ambush battle afterwards either. Is there a mod requirement I'm missing or was this intended?

Not sure if this mod is still working flawlessly or not after ogre merc update.
I tried to intercept the invasion but the GRN army gathering just disappear ;(

Nowt wrong with the invasions, it's a boss idea and it works fantastic to level up lords. You should always have someone who can make it in 3 turns forced marching

Not tested, but it shouldn't cause desyncs. I am not sure how the marker system reacts to secondary players interacting with them though.

The markers give you 3 turns to attempt to intercept before a 20 stack army drops and each marker pings you a message so you should know they are there. If you want to take the risk out entirely, the invasions are tied to Tor Yvresse defence level. The values are in the script on lines 107, 125 and 142.

Finally, you can use the MCT to tweak the strength of invasions to something more manageable!

Love the idea, not the execution. There needs to be far more warning about when an invasion is imminent (you could use scouting as an excuse) but it is super annoying when you're halfway across the donut dealing with Dark Elves and then boom "a full 20 stack will spawn at your capital next turn :)"

It just needs improvement, but otherwise love the additional challenge.

The mod works great. The main thing is not to combine it with mods that add new characters to the greenskin. And then an unpleasant bug occurs - a new hero spawns right in the invasion army and interferes with the movement of these armies.

I think that Lizardmen don't fight Chaos enough in ME in general. In the lore they often fight Chaos and Daemons, in-game that's just not true.

An Itza version of this mod would be amazing, considering the whole schtick of Gorok is literally "Defender of Itza". Love the mod though.

Special thanks for the ability to customize the difficulty of the mod. As for me, the initial settings are too sparing for the player. I recommend for intermediate players + set the force of the invasion waves 6-8-10. Well, I would also like these settings to be default ...

Can I make a request for a future mod? Dark Elf invasions attacking Tyrion and Alarielle. An excellent way to spice up their otherwise fairly vanilla Vortex campaigns. Obviously, you'd wanna finish this bit of inspired genius first, but Tyrion and Alarielle are perfect choices for this kind of a mod as well.

Eltharion's campaign in the ME is very good. IMO one of the most interesting ones as far as the HE are concerned, along with Imrik's. The Vortex one is so easy, though.

In my opinion, Eltharion campaign in vanilla WH 2 is "half-baked" only - whole Grom "invasion" is just one final battle. So yes, shame for them and respect for you ;)

@anax - the invasions are tied to Yvresse defence levels - not turns.
@narigol - these invasions are for the player only. I do not think the new invasion system is AI friendly.
Re: power of invasions - I am going to be looking at mct support to allow folks to customise the invasion experience somewhat.

This mod works very well and is thematic, but personally I find the invasions not hard enough in the Vortex. They shouldn't be overwhelming, but Eltharion's campaign is so easy and fast in Vanilla that even these invasions don't make much of a difference. My suggestion: keep the first invasion the same, but make the following ones harder.

Deviant - Unfortunately that 's an issue with the base quests - my mod only responds to them.

As for adding this for other factions - the reason why its a great fit for Yvresse is because it's narrative is about defending the invasions from Grom. Throwing these invasions for everyone without thought will be a rather shallow experience, so thinking about meaningful implementations is something I want to do first!
