I'm not seeing any errors, so you'll have to be more specific

There are some tokens that are errors when trying to load.

Thanks for this, would love more scripting but works decently without much hassle :)

There's a "Dynamic Ocean Map" that goes pretty well with the theme of this game, especially if you take the wooden table away, makes it look like all the islands are floating on the sea, with waves washing over "lower" cards.

Here's my sloppy save if you want to see how it looks for yourself.

Not much progress on this lately?

This is kind of minor but, the rules say the player order is clockwise. The scripting for this seems have the player order be counter-clockwise.

Added a first pass at Angler's cove using assets borrowed from the linked mod.
Requires manual setup.

Looking forward to when you can add Angler's Cove!

Awesome mod :) When do you plan on adding Angler's Cove?
Fooxoo 20 Jan, 2021 @ 9:51pm
this is a well made mod, I dunno why it doesn't have stars in it

600 dpi. There are limits to how much can be imported into TTS, so you can't go much above that without degrading performance significantly.

How much dpi is this scan?

Ah, you are correct. I had the "First Game" version in my head where its 3 easy on top of the 3 hard.
Excel  [author] 4 Jan, 2021 @ 5:19pm
That sounds like the intended behavior. The setup for monsters is like this:
- Shuffle the hard monsters and use as the monster deck
- Shuffle the easy monsters
- Draw the first 2 easy monsters that have different fighting styles from each other and from the top hard monster
- Place the 2 selected easy monsters on top of the deck
- Place the remaining easy monsters in the unused components bag

The end result should be a deck where:
- The top 2 monsters are easy and the rest (at least 3) are hard
- The top 3 monsters (2 easy and 1 hard) all have different fighting styles

This is excellent! One quick note though on auto setup, it appears the 3 easy monsters (if untouched) don't all shuffle in correctly? One of them ends up in the unused component bag, is that expected?

I usually just lay them out below the board, since TTS really doesn't like sliding things under a locked board, but I can take a look and see if there are some good solutions...

I saw a Machi Koro mod that did something like this, but it was very fiddly and it confused the people I was playing with. I don't like scripts that get in the way of people that are trying to just play manually, or that will make it harder if people don't perform the correct voodoo magic inputs, so I would be pretty picky about what I come up with. Maybe a card-splayer tool that people can place down however they like, or something like that.

I was also considering doing some kind of automatic total score calculation, which might eliminate the need to splay them out at all if you don't care about the other information on them (you could just have 3 decks).

Looking great, Excel! I'll hopefully teach the game to some friends in the coming weeks and really test this mod out but after just a little poking around, seems like it's a great implementation.

One thing that would be nice to see added (since you seem like a very competent scripter) would be a way to tuck completed challenges under the playerboard. I have a mod for Spacebase that does this same sort of functionality so I know it's possible, but I have no idea how.

Anyways, keep up the good work!

FYI, if you need Angler's Cove, you can find it in this version of the game:
