Thanks for your suggestion. It sounds interesting. I'm busy for a while so I'll try later.
By using the command you could give shinto holy sites without overwriting the "landed_titles" file and thus keep compatability with most mods changing the map.
Also not sure if this is just me but when you take the new chrysanthemum throne decision and export it completely destroys localisation.

The suggestion to add Japanese to candidates for the Chinese emperor is interesting. I'm regret to say that I'm now busy with my tasks in NMIH (CK2) and Shogunate (CK3) and difficult to develop an large Sub MOD for a while.
In addition, I have a suggestion/request for you involving the Jade Dragon DLC. Would it be possible to create a submod which allows the offmap China power to be invaded by Japan and potentially installing a Japanese dynasty in China for those less historically inclined? I'm not sure how much work it would be for something like that, but I'm leaving it up to you if you want to make it or not.

I fixed description of this page, and changed cultural graphics for buildings to those same as the Han Chinese ones. (see also "Japanese Culture : Portraits").
It is intended that Japanese characters do not have headgear. (Also in Sengoku, they did not have.)
I also considered adding Japanese armor and helmets, but that's a heavy task for me.
First, good job on this. Everything seems to work as intended, but something I noticed is that you didnt make clear in this description that you definetely need the Rajas expansion to be able to play as Shindo, since its the same eastern category as buddhism.
One bug I found (tho I am not sure if its a bug or not) is that all the cultural graphics for buildings is just regular european castles, cities and churches. I tried fixing that by removing the "japanesegfx" and letting chinesegfx first, and that did work to make the buildings the same as the Han Chinese ones, but that also removed the custom beards that you gave the japanese. So there is a draw back if people want their builds to be oriental-looking. The japanese also seem to lack any type of headgear for whatever landed rank or combat headgear. This is not a big deal to me tho. However I can see how the building graphics can affect people's immersion.
